'I chose the Solano Inn for my wedding weekend as it was close to our venue and had the room to accommodate ourselves and small number of family members attending. One word comes to mind...meh. It was just ok. The rooms looked fairly clean at first glance, but don't look too close! Don't look behind furniture or at the baseboards and certainly don't look under the bed! 'There pool is great. We’ve been here lots over the years and can see it’s not as well maintained - except for the pool. Breakfast is better here than at comparable hotels. For the price it’s a deal.'

'Super clean and comfy! All the staff we interacted with were absolutely lovely. Especially the barista! It was a quiet location even though it was right next to a busy highway. The only "downside" is that the doorway area isn't as well soundproofed so you do hear a lot of hallway sounds, though, that really wasn't any issue for our trip as there weren't any disruptive guests. Overall, great choice- would stay there again!'

'We used the motel to break up our drive to Maine and to see family in the area. Great location with a nice bed for a good night's sleep. Room was dominated by the bed so not much room for anything else. It served it's purpose. Would stay again.'

'Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.'

'We stayed here to be close to the TPC River Highlands golf course. It was super convenient. It is well situated to get around to many different towns to do day trips and big box shops. The restaurants within walking distance are delicious - namely, Mizzu Asian, The Cromwell Diner, Cafe Fiore just to name a few.
