I only rated this stay as good because of Expedia. The hotel was great along with the staff. The one problem that I had was with checking in.
Expedia had to be called because the price that Expedia had for my stay didn't match what the hotel had received or something along these lines. I had to contact Expedia which was a 30-minute process. Once I called Expedia then they had to call a manager. That manager had to call the hotel and then after I was on hold for quite a while they kept getting back with me telling them what was going on with the process. Expedia did not offer me any type of consolation because of my 30 minutes of life that was lost. But it took me asking if they could please do something to make this right since the whole ordeal did take 30 full minutes and, I had worked a 12-hour shift and was very tired. I had to also return back to work in the morning for another 12-hour shift. I was not happy to have lost a half an hour of my sleep time due to a mistake with Expedia. Unfortunately Expedia blamed the hotel for the problem. The employee told the Expedia employee that they were the cause of the problem. If Expedia made the mistake why couldn't they acknowledge that? So, I had asked for them to make things right and Expedia did give me a $50 coupon for my next hotel stay.
