'Just a perfect place and a perfect stay for us. Tranquil setting, an elegant yet very comfy mansion Every detail of for a magnificent stay well thought out and addressed. The host and chef were incredibly nice. They made us feel welcomed; like peers or friends. Absolutely, the finest breakfast I've ever experienced. We only had a one night stay but wished we had the time to stay longer.'

'A charming old manor from the Gilded Age, thoughtfully updated and modernized without losing the soul of the original home. Incredibly comfortable rooms, inviting common spaces, excellent breakfast, beautiful grounds, and friendly staff. We especially enjoyed the fireplace in our room. 'Wonderful 19th century inn! We had a spacious corner room with pullout sofa. We enjoyed sitting out on the beautiful balcony. Comfortable, relaxing, quiet stay. As long as you are not expecting a modern, chain-brand property, and have a car, you will enjoy this place! We were in town so my wife could be an exhibitor at the Berkshires Art Festival. The included breakfast was incredible! But so you know it was about a mile down the road at the Southfield Store. The bed was very comfortable. Only complaint was that the cabinet, closet door needs to be greased with WD 40 please on the hinges! A terrible & loud screeching noise!'

'The hotel is trying to do repairs. My room, 101 was very nice. My concern is all the abandoned cars & stored cars sitting in the parking area taking up spaces! One is clearly abandoned, Expedition. No lisense plate, completely flat tire $ dirt covered on 1 side. Next to it a red car with broken drivers window. Then a car covered. Also was an old mattress laying by dumpster. There was a snow plow in another area of parking. It was a sold out weekend & some of these things should have been long...
