The family who runs it are super lovely, the breakfast was fantastic and the room had the best view.
Its such a good choice. We choose to stay one night of our stay in the area at an expensive hotel on the lake will it was lovely we do wish we had spent another night at Mothers Home and saved our money.'

'My bus arrived early in the morning, around 5:00am. The staff answered the door of the hotel quickly and let me check in early. The breakfast was good and reasonably priced. I also rented a bike from the hotel for only 2,000 kyat per day.'

'It’s a 10 minute walk from town. Which is a good thing. I like to walk a little in the morning, and it’s a nice walk, and the hotel is very quiet. It is clean and new with a very aim to please staff. I really enjoyed my stay there.'

Our group arrived quite early and the manager allowed us to check in early and even gave us breakfast that morning. Accommodated every request as the hotel was not busy. Manager was quite friendly and hands on. The rest of the hotel staff were also genuinely nice and caring. My only regret is we should have stayed here longer....

'We stayed 4 nights. The hotel just recently open and therefore everything was new and clean. The hotel manager was super friendly and organised all our trips (boot trip, airport transfers, bicycle tour). Also we were test costumers for the new bar open soon. All drinks were super delicious! The female staff member told the driver to go to a totally different location than I wanted. This happen once then I thought it would be corrected but she did it again and again I finally said enough and left. This was a small issue as I was able to find a substitute...
