'I love the hot tub and the layout of the room.'

'Did not honor any request on our reservation, wanted an interior entrance and they say none were available, parking lot was less than half full the whole night, probably not opening interior rooms so it should not be listed on their website. Also room smelled of smoke, supposed to be a nonsmoking room. Attendant when checked in was on his phone the whole time, not helpful for any requests on our reservation.'

'This is my third stay at Suburban Studios over the last couple of years. In addition tobeing a great location right off the highway and a good stopping point along my journey, the staff and site are very welcoming. It is nice to have a full kitchen on long journeys. I travel between Minnesota and Virginia twice a year and Suburban Studios will always be my go to!'

'Very run down, but not miserable for a night or two stay'

'The only reason why’d you pay that price is the location itself, and the lovely and fantastic staff that work as hard as they can to make up for their lack of vibe. Dried blood on the sofa pillow, and bed pillow A the suites aren’t worth it, it’s legitimately entirely small, just get the bed. Spent 587$ on a room that shares a singular tv that you can barely adjust, with a horrible microwave, no spoons, no forks, and a mirror for some reason that faces the bed directly so ur face to face...

'And all my years of travelling this by far was the worst experience I’ve ever had. The general manager was unbelievably unprofessional. Other patrons that were staying there long-term were drunk and belligerent in the hotel lobby, and it was obvious they were good friends with the general manager. We received threats from both the patrons and the GM to the point that we had to leave after a long day of travel and minding our own business. Absolutely unreal'

'The room was clean and adequate for a very short stay. The hotel reminded me of an old holiday Inn that was renovated. Value for the price about 6 out of 10.'

'The location was amazing, with direct access to the casino and racetrack! The staff were professional, especially the young man that checked us in! We were at the hotel for my daughter’s wedding, and everyone in the wedding party seemed to be impressed! I have zero complaints!'

'I have never stayed at Candlewood Suites before. I highly recommend it! Staff was able to get me in for early check in. My suite was large and very comfortable. The room was immaculate. Kudos to Their staff!!'

'It was not disclosed that the property was under construction, the pictures on line were of the completed property. When checking in, we were given a double queen when we booked a King, and the front desk was not apologetic at all, just "sorry, nothing I can do about it". Also, there wasn't a working ice machine to be found. Upon showering, there was also no conditioner, container was empty. Poor experience over all.'

'A wonderful place to feel at home away from home. Excellent hot breakfast with fruit salad and friendly conversation. A beautifully renovated large old country home in the middle of a rural village. Definitely will be back.'
