Aanzienlijke milieuvriendelijke blokhut met 3 slaapkamers (5 slaapplaatsen) genesteld in de uitlopers van het Monadhliath-gebergte. Dicht bij veel van de beste toeristische attracties in de Schotse Hooglanden. Ideale locatie voor het verkennen van de Schotse Hooglanden.

Rustige locatie op een boerderij in een heuvel, 14 km ten zuiden van Inverness en op korte afstand van Loch Ness, het slagveld van Culloden en de Cairngorms. Ideaal gelegen om te wandelen, toeren, mountainbiken met geweldige mogelijkheden om dit fascinerende deel van Noord-Schotland te verkennen.

Deze moderne vakantielodge is gebouwd volgens een hoge standaard, met het plezier en comfort van de gasten voorop, en wordt verwarmd door hernieuwbare energiesystemen en een houtkachel. Fearnag Lodge is uitgerust met gratis supersnelle wifi en tv-systemen met internet.

Fearnag Lodge bestaat uit moderne, comfortabele accommodatie. Onze koolstofarme blokhut wordt verwarmd door een warmtepomp op de grond, waterverwarming op zonne-energie en een houtkachel en is ontworpen met het oog op het milieu.

De lichte en ruime open keuken/eetkamer/woonkamer heeft directe toegang tot een overdekt terras. De woonkamer is uitgerust met een 37-inch flatscreen-tv met internet en surround-sound, blue ray dvd-speler, iPod-dock en gratis wifi. De keuken is voorzien van alle gebruikelijke moderne inbouwapparatuur en een massief granieten werkblad.

Er zijn drie slaapkamers - een eenpersoonskamer, een met twee eenpersoonsbedden en een grote slaapkamer met een kingsize bed. De hoofdslaapkamer heeft een en-suite badkamer, plafond in kathedraalstijl, 32-inch Freesat-tv (internet ingeschakeld) en directe toegang tot een royaal balkon met een prachtig uitzicht over landbouwgrond, bossen en de heuvels van Strathnairn.

Beneden is het hoofdtoilet met een grote inloopdouche en beugels voor mindervaliden. De deuren op de begane grond zijn allemaal breed genoeg om rolstoeltoegang mogelijk te maken tot de eenpersoonskamer, de keuken/eetkamer/woonkamer, het hoofdtoilet en het voorterras.

Fearnag Lodge heeft een vergunning voor kortlopende verhuur van de Schotse overheid, ref. HI-50099-F

The lodge is located in a very nice and quiet environment. It contained everything you may need. It was very clean. And the hosts were very friendly and willing. We visisted several places in the Scottish Highlands with this lodge as basis.

You cannot find a better accommodation! We were greeted with farm fresh eggs, shortbread cookies and Scottish fudge. The owner William met us at the property to make sure we knew how to work the heating system and lock the doors. Communication was easy and quick.Our favorite part of our stay was the cow and sheep pastures across from the property. We loved waking up to those Highland farms sounds!

We've been to Scotland countless times to visit the Highlands. Most of the time we stay in lodges as we like the freedom of looking after ourselves and to come and go as we please.This lodge would be the best we have ever stayed in.The communication between us and the hosts was seamless. On arrival we met William and Rhona. They are such lovely and welcoming people and full of local knowledge.The lodge was immaculate. The front room was spacious and very comfortable.The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. They even provided some dishwasher tablets/ washing up liquid etc.There was also a nice little welcome pack such as eggs, tea, coffee, fudge, and short bread biscuits.The bedrooms are spacious and the beds comfortable. The downstairs has a large shower room and the upstairs has an equally large ensuite but the shower is in the bath.Our week in the highlands was lovely and the beautiful lodge made it even more special.Thank you William and Rhona

This was our first visit to William's property and it definitely won't be our last. What a beautiful house! The photos definitely don't do it justice. William went the extra mile to put up a Christmas tree and Christmas decorations for our two small chidren and they loved it. They also left delicious snacks to welcome us, which speaks of the wonderful hospitality. The property is conveniently located so various trourist destinations are within a short drive. The natural beauty of the are made every drive special and enjoyable. We will definitely be back!

Log home was equipped with all we needed for our stay. William and Rhonda were friendly and helpful. It was a cold and drizzly August so we appreciated the underfloor heating and even lit the ready laid log fire on one evening. The downstairs bathroom and bedroom are ideal for a less mobile person. Stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my wife and my daughter’s birthdays. The lodge is immaculately presented and the warm welcome from the hosts was carried throughout our stay, a proper home from home! We walked the local trails, visited Loch Ness and Inverness , all within the local vicinity. Very peaceful retreat within a 10 minute drive of the A9. Even in winter the lodge is very well heated and a wood burning stove adds extra character as well as heat. The cleanliness of the lodge is of an exceptionally high standard, actually I don’t recall staying anywhere EVER that was equal. The pictures are an accurate reflection on the property and I would advise anyone who likes the look of this lodge to book it without hesitation!
