Excellent hotel well located close to Inverness
Hotel is recommended for anybody passing in the vicinity of Inverness. Nice clean rooms. Good restaurant and very friendly staff.

Genieten....
Prachtig onderhouden hotel. Mooie kamers en de tuinen zijn een plaatje. Jammer dat we maar 1 nacht geboekt hadden op onze rondreis. Had graag langer willen blijven. Is veel te doen in de omgeving.

Absolutely beautiful property just south of Inverness near Loch Ness. The included breakfast is outstanding, and the dinner, while expensive, is incredibly good. The staff in the hotel were top-notch. We would definitely stay here again

We had a lovely stay at the Loch Ness Country House. Enjoyed the comfortable and cozy atmosphere and the friendliness of the staff. Room was spacious and had charming. The ladies were so friendly and glad we chose to have dinner there along with the delicious breakfast.

This is a gem, just an absolutely wonderful place and their hidden secret... some of the best cuisine around. I highly recommend staying here.

The property was in a good location and the room was clean and generous. I didn't ask for a portable fan but there's no air-conditioning in the room. Windows open was sufficient to be comfortable. The location was nice and quiet and the well manicured landscaping was very nice.

This was a lovely place to stay. Our only complaint was the water in our room. Our shower regularly stopped working. We had to call the front desk and they would fix it but it was inconvenient.

We arrived late in the evening and the restaurant had already closed. The gentleman at the front desk went and arranged dinner for us with the chef. Service at this hotel was impeccable and much appreciated.

The hotel and environment is very charming. We stayed in the garden cottage. The furniture there is charming, too. However, from the functionality point of view, the kitchen and bathroom could use some refurbishment. The breakfast was delicious and the service very good, the staff friendly and helpful.

Lovely setting but the facilities have a bit if a tired, forlorn feeling. The lights did not all work in our romn, wifi was out for a day in the room. Staff was mixed, from the very friendly and helpful Graham, to some other desk staff that seemed withdrawn. Not the Scottish effusiveness that we’ve come to enjoy

When we arrived the staff at the front desk immediately checked us in and went out to the parking lot to help us with our bags. Our room was roomy. The bathroom was more like an unimproved old 1960's bathroom. Everything worked but was old. Dinner was excellent and the service prompt and friendly. Being far from road traffic we slept quite well. The location outside of Inverness was an asset on our passage to Urquhart Castle and Loch Ness since we did not need to deal with that mostly industrial city. And lastly the grounds were beautiful and relaxing.

Excellent location and property!
This is a beautiful property in an old hunting lodge built in 1710. Our room was spectacular with stunning views of the garden. The bar lounge area with fireplace was a delightful retreat at the end of the day and the delicious breakfast was a welcome start. Our two-night stay here was wonderful!

Don’t go… 211 euros per night for no hot water in the shower or sink (6 degrees outside), no insulated windows, damaged and old furniture, bad mattress, very old and not-working TV. Totally disappointed!

Stayed in the garden cottage as a stopover which was nice and quiet, think it needs a bit of updating and TLC, beds weren’t particularly comfortable. Clean, garden area was nice, breakfast was great and staff were very friendly and helpful.
