Shore View Cottage is in mei 2017 omgebouwd en is ideaal gelegen in een klein dorpje in de buurt van Inverness, en is gerenoveerd volgens de hoogste standaard. Het Cottage heeft interupted uitzicht over de Beauly en Moray Firths die thuis zijn van een school van Bottlenose Dolphins.
De Cottage is zeer smaakvol ingericht met hoge kwaliteit vloeren en meubels compleet met een houtkachel.

Bij de zee zijn er mooie stranden en de binnenstad van Inverness ligt op slechts 10 minuten afstand. U kunt er regelmatig met de bus rijden als u de auto achterlaat. Dicht bij het huisje bevindt zich het Dolphin and Seal Center waar u alles over deze geweldige zoogdieren kunt vinden en zelfs naar de hydrofoons 'tegen elkaar' kunt praten '- een geweldige ervaring. Het dorp North Kessock heeft een pub en winkel, allemaal op loopafstand.

Loch Ness is 30 minuten verderop als u deze prachtige loch wilt verkennen en misschien een boottocht kunt maken en proberen het beruchte monster te zien zien! Er is veel te doen in de omgeving: dolfijn cruises op de Moray Firth, een pony trekking centrum 10 minuten, veel restaurants en traditionele live muziek bars, het Black Isle Wildlife Park en golfbanen in Inverness en Fortrose. Dit is een prachtig vakantiehuis voor een vakantie op het hoogland.

great communication with host before and during visit. The location is as pictured, right on water and amazing sunrises and sun sets. House and room pictures and description were accurate, full kitchen, with master en suite downstaris and other bedrooms and full bath upstairs worked perfectly for our group of 4 (spouse, brother and sister-in-law), we used the third bedroom upstairs with two twins for our luggage. Nice restaurant (good food, we ate dinner there three times), small grocery store and shops within a few minutes walking distance. Good location just outside of Inverness city center with easy access to areas of interest including Loch Ness, salmon fishing and Highlands. Had one issue with understanding Scottish dryer and Hazel was on phone quickly and talked us through it (who knew there would be a water basin that needs to be emptied in bottom of a clothes dryer?). Would defineately stay again if /when we get back to Inverness.

Hazel was a wonderful host! She came around to check that every thing was going well and to see if we needed anything. The home was spotlessly clean and was in a quiet but beautiful location. The little pod outside was a bonus to sit and have a coffee in the morning or decompress prior to bed. There was a little basket of snacks which was a welcome surprise. Kitchen was well stocked with all appliances, dishes, cutlery and spices and condiments. Location was easy to travel back into Inverness, or venture out on day trips. There is small shop just a short walk down the road for anything you might need. We would highly recommend Hazel's place for anyone wanting a perfect home in northern Scotland!!!

Cottage Gem!

This super clean cottage is decorated in a classical style. Comfortable bedding and linens. We thoroughly enjoyed a drink and appetizer in the “Pod” while watching a stunning Scottish sunset. Hazel promptly communicated through email and we were sorry our schedules didn’t allow us to meet. Meals at the Hotel North Kessock and White Cottage were delicious, reasonably priced, and serviced by pleasant staff. Thank you, Hazel!

Beautiful home and location

This is a fantastic home to stay in. It is well laid out with comfortable, cozy rooms. The kitchen was very well stocked and clean. The bathrooms had plenty of towels and varieties of soaps and lotions and shampoos. Just really nice. We ate at the hotel down the street and had an excellent meal, at Hazel’s suggestion. The views of the firth were lovely. Highly recommend!

A lovely cottage by the sea

The cottage is absolutely lovely and I wish we could have stayed longer. Hazel Bell is very responsive. The house provides all you could wish for, including the opportunity to sit out (even in a cold drizzle) and look at the sea. Our stay was short, but we loved every minute of it.

North Kessock Dream cottage

Hazel has maintained and decorated her property to the highest standards. Everything you could possibly need has been provided. The location is superb-just what we hoped it would be. Access was so easy and Hazel personally welcomed us. Our only complaint is that we couldn’t stay longer. If we ever get an opportunity to visit this area again we will definitely book here and stay longer.

Beautiful Cottage!!!

We arrived to North Kessock after a long drive from Perth. We were greeted by the cosiest cutest cottage in a breathtaking location. The cottage is luxuriously appointed and has the loveliest decor. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. Wandered down to the local pub for a delicious dinner and had a very comfortable nights sleep. We saw otters frolicking at dawn. Wish we could have stayed longer!
