Little House on the Trail

Ons perfecte, kleine huis grenst handig aan de Iron Bell Trail. Gelegen op een groot privéterrein in een rustige straat en op loopafstand van restaurants, bars en winkels. We hebben het huis in mei 2018 gekocht en hebben zojuist een uitgebreide vloer tot plafondrenovatie voltooid. Elk kenmerk van het huis is bewust gekozen; brengen een Arizona-moderne boerderij sfeer naar de sneeuwgordel van Upper Michigan. Nieuwe roestvrijstalen apparaten in leisteen, gootsteen in boerderijstijl, werkbladen van slagerblokken, gerestaureerde hardhouten vloeren en een koffiebar omgebouwd van een antiek fornuis in de kelder! De grote veranda is voorzien van een schommel, schommelstoelen en een vintage platenspeler en radio. Het achterdek is toegevoegd voor extra leefruimte buiten; een geweldige plek om te ontspannen met een glas wijn of koffie en te genieten van het prachtige landschap en de natuur. We zijn niet fulltime in de buurt, dus wilden we onze gezellige ruimte met anderen delen!

Great experience

They have thought of everything and provided it for you in this cozy space, full of character and fun details. Communication was excellent, driveway was plowed right away through two days of blizzard, sauna/shower such a luxury, the location is excellent for accessing all of the nearby adventures. We will stay again.

Cozy home with sauna and coffee bar

This was our second stay. We came to cross country ski and the home is close to many trails. The home is cute, cozy and very clean. We especially enjoyed the sauna and coffee bar after a day on the trails. The host was easy to communicate with and the check in went smoothly. We would come back again.

Such a great place!!

We came up to the area to take my daughter skiing. This house is nice and close to Powderhorn! We were close to some great places to eat as well. The house was super clean and decorated so nicely!! The sauna was great after a cold day outside. We are already talking about when we can come back and will definitely stay here again!!

The house is in a great location for skiing at ABR and Wolverine ski trails. The kitchen has everything you need and there are many great restaurants in the area. Beds are super comfortable and the house is always clean. Michelle is a great host.

Perfect stay for our family of 4. Excellent location on the ATV trail!

My family of four and I were looking for a place to stay for our UTV trip and this was the perfect spot! The location is excellent for easy trail access, yet it’s still a very quiet neighborhood. It’s also close to restaurants or places you’d need to go in town. The home was so clean and very tastefully decorated and remodeled. We just loved it! The vintage stereo/record player and the sauna were awesome perks. They have everything we needed for our stay. Melissa was very communicative and helpful. We would love to stay here again and I truly hope we do, as we love riding the trails in this area. I can’t thank you enough for letting us stay in your beautiful home, Melissa. It was so lovely!

What a little gem this house is. The perfect size for two people, a pup, and visiting friends. The house is located close to the Iron Belle Trail, where we road our bikes into town or to the local gym. The house is cozy and smartly decorated. The host was incredibly responsive and kind. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to explore the western U.P. and Ironwood!

Perfect!

This property is adorable and in a super convenient location. Incredibly well stocked kitchen, comfy beds and linens, nice back yard and deck, and a super coffee bar set up! Michelle was very accommodating of our last minute plans. We decided to run away for a few days to hike the black river area. Great destination even without snow!

We enjoyed this cozy, comfortable, and well decorated home which is conveniently located in Ironwood. Even though there wasn’t enough snow to snowmobile as planned, we stilled enjoyed the weekend by cross country skiing, bowling and hiking in Porcupine park. Michelle was extremely helpful in providing recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Thank you, Michelle!
