"Basic Hotel, at waters edge with Bar and largte deck oveer water. Staff friendly. Basic rooms, but clean with hot water ( Not always a given on island loations ) Dive Center Manager ( Jorge ) top notch, attentive and helpful above and below the water. 1 mile from center of small village, used Tuk Tuk to go everywhere for $2 per trip, much cheaper than renting a scooter for $35 per day. Best restaurant is Mango Tango, easily, with quite tasty gourmet food. "

"When we plan a trip, especially to another country, an involved house manager is key for me. Trish and her team at the Coconut House did not disappoint! Trish was extremely responsive to all of my pre trip questions (and I had a lot,) helped us pre arrange fishing, scuba, outings, and saved us when the inevitable hiccups happened. The house is beautiful, our teens all had their own bedrooms/bathrooms, and genuinely never uttered the word ‘bored.’ The dock is just as wonderful as the house, kids...

"Enjoyed our vacation to Utila. Plenty of room for our family of 6 (all adults). Tony and Jo were very easy to work with and helped with golf cart rentals and even did some grocery shopping for us before we arrived. They met us at the ferry with our golf carts and even brought our luggage to the rental for us. We had a small issue with the AC when we arrived and it was handled promptly. Would highly recommend renting this property! Utila, thanks for the memories!!"
