Despite presenting documentation that our stay was pre-paid and the balance was zero, the hotel harassed us in person, by texts, and voicemails during our entire stay that we owed them $231.
They admitted that their staff member banged on our door at 10:00PM in an attempt to confront us about the charge. We sat scared in our room, fearing someone was trying to break the door down.
Yes, this ACTUALLY HAPPENED.
We told them to contact Expedia, for this issue had nothing to do with us, but they kept telling us to contact Expedia on their behalf.
Upon checking out, they again harassed us about contacting Expedia. My husband simply responded "Gracias" and they left us a malignant text accusing my husband of being "very rude"! He recorded the interaction and the only word he spoke was "gracias" in a kind demeanor.
The front office staff was horrible and ruined our stay. We will NEVER return to this hotel or any hotel affiliated with these owners.
