'I very rarely give 5 starts and this place doesn't deserve 5 but close is fair. When you drive-up to the property, you can see straight-through to the infinity pool and ocean -- it's a lovely location. (The 5 hour drive is grueling from Panama City). However, they have lots of rules and lacking some basic kitchen supplies. First thing to know is the A/C IS ONLY IN THE BEDROOMS! and they mention several times to turn it off ($900 electric bill, they cry, as if I haven't just spent over $4000 to...

'Maya is incredible! She was very accommodating and very quick to respond to any questions. She was also flexible with check-in and check-out times, which was extremely helpful. The space was very clean and had all of the necessities for a few night stay. This is definitely the perfect place to stay in Venao.'

'It is the perfect place for staying in this area. Local culture and a good surfing school next door. Clean, safe and fun at the same time. '

Great places to go out to dinner, has a good market to buy snacks for food during the day, friendly neighbors, and lastly an amazing beach to surf at. Felt very safe. 'Overall a lovely place. What we did not anticipate was the request to not flush toilet paper (tiny garbage cans in bathrooms that we assumed were for the disposal, pretty gross). The description says kitchen has all appliances, but unfortunately that does not include an oven?! The baking dishes do not fit in toaster oven? The outdoor bbq is not to the quality one would expect, and expectation of buying charcoal should be mentioned if not provided.'

'Beautiful house, beautiful property!! View was amazing. Salt water pool was amazing. Close to Playa Venao which has stores and restaurants and a beautiful break for surfing. House had all the amenities you could need, easy communication. Delightful all around! Highly recommend.'
