'Nice hotel for 1 or 2 nights. Close to the ferry to/from Puntarenas. Located in a hill ensuring great views. Welcome to the hotel was very friendly. We arrived early but that was not a problem at all. Personnel in general ok but not all very friendly. New to us in Costa Rica where we find hotelstaff in general very kind. 'We stopped in Puntarenas on our way back from the west coast to San Juan. Unless you are curious to see all of Costa Rica, there is not much at all in this area. It's a filthy, poor area with little to offer, even though it is so close to the beach. The hotel is kind of old and tired with an unclean looking pool. Food is mediocre at best. 'We chose the 3 bedroom condo as it was on the second floor and we wanted balconies on the 2nd floor not the first. The condo was so big for just 2 people but we loved the space. Amazing.... will definitely go again and bring another couple with us so we can all enjoy together. The access to the Beach Club was a welcome extra as it was so amazing'
