'The welcome by being collected on the beach and having our luggage taken to the room was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and the view was gorgeous.
We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff...
'Kenneth was a great host who met us at the beach from the boat as well as helped us meet the boat when we left. The room was very clean and the ocean view from the balcony was gorgeous and a great place to sit and unwind. Loved the location.'
'The Drake Bay Getaway was an unexpected delight! Views from the room were exquisite, as each villa is perched on a hillside with an ocean view. The manager was extremely helpful and spent time explaining about the surrounding area and animal life. We felt as if we were staying with family!
Meals were beautifully prepared, offering a sampling of the local food. The location was great too, allowing for quiet relaxation, yet still convenient for activities.'
'House was exactly as advertised and had a great view. There was a berry tree in front of the house and every day two red Macaws would perch there followed by two toucans. The breakfast was great and you can walk down the stairs right to the beach. The only drawback was the hike up to the house, but everything else was perfect.'
'The staff was very helpful and friendly. She coordinated a boat ride back to Sierpe plus a ride to the beach. The air conditioning and warm showers felt SO good after our overnight in Corcovado! We also had a private deck with a view of the trees and some parrots hanging out! Wish we had been able to stay longer!'
'Mariadelia welcomed us to the hotel with smoothies and refreshing towels. She was such an angel our whole stay. She anticipated our needs, answered our questions, and helped us book activities. I hope she gets paid highly because she certainly deserves it! We also loved talking with the bartender, Diego who was a sweetie. One of the chefs, Randall also came over and took a picture of me and my husband without us having to ask. Everyone on staff clearly works hard to upkeep this lovely getaway....
'Prachtige lodge middenin het regenwoud. Je wordt wakker van de vogels en de apen springen door de bomen terrwijl je in de hangmat ligt. Je hebt erg veel privacy en het personeel is behulpzaam en erg vriendelijk!'
