Gelegen op enkele minuten van tientallen ATV-paden en eersteklas vissen in het Island Park Reservoir, is dit huis een ideaal toevluchtsoord voor liefhebbers van het buitenleven. Naast de eersteklas locatie, op een klein eindje rijden van het Yellowstone National Park, vindt u bij uw thuis ver van huis een groot terras, een elektrische open haard en tal van andere voorzieningen.

    -- HET EIGENDOM --

    Master Bedroom: Queen Bed | Woonkamer: slaapbank

    Wanneer u een pauze van de elementen nodig hebt, trek dan terug naar de woonkamer en zet de gashaard aan. Terwijl je op de bank krult en naar de Smart TV op het platte scherm kijkt, voel je dat de vlammen uit de openhaard de kamer verwarmen.

    Met uitgebreide werkbladen, verschillende werkbladen en nog veel meer, heeft de volledig uitgeruste keuken alles wat je nodig hebt om een 5-sterren feest voor je reisgenoten te maken.

    Als je klaar bent met eten en drinken aan tafel voor 3, schenk jezelf een slaapmutsje in en ga het overdekte dek op. Omgeven door torenhoge bomen is het dek de perfecte plek om een ontspannen avond door te brengen onder de sterrenhemel.

    De gezellige slaapkamer is voorzien van een queensize bed en veel bergruimte. Twee extra gasten zullen comfortabele slaapplaatsen vinden op de slaapbank in de woonkamer.

    Zorg ervoor dat je je ATV meeneemt omdat het huis is omgeven door tientallen goed onderhouden paden. Je zult scheuren door weelderig groen en prachtige dieren in het wild terwijl je het Island Park-gebied verkent.

    Wanneer de zomerzon schijnt, ga dan 10 mijl verder op de weg naar het Island Park Reservoir. Dit meer van 700 hectare biedt boothellingen, zwemmen en nog veel meer. De vissers van de groep zullen dol zijn op het vangen van regenboog en moordende forel aan de oevers van het stuwmeer.

    Caribou-Targhee National Forest ligt op een klein eindje rijden van het huis en beschikt over 3 miljoen hectare grond in Zuidoost-Idaho. Any criticism of this property is nit-picking...it is exceptional. The inside craftsmanship is opulent, like walking into a 5 star hotel, with ALL the bases and amenities covered. It was somewhat inconvenient to be up early, showered, dressed, ready, packed, load the car, wash the dishes, strip the bed and towels, and empty all garbage in the outside can, and tidy up by 10am. An extra hour would be GREATLY appreciated!

This property was clean and had very quiet surroundings. We did attempt to turn on the fireplace but couldn’t get it on. The host assured us that it should work, so maybe we weren’t doing it right. It was a little inconvenient to strip the bed and wash the dishes, dry them and put them away. We ended up leaving a day early, but it is a decent property for the right people. We are elderly and my husband is disabled.

Quiet and Convenient to West Yellowstone

Property was clean and we (my fiancé and I) found it to be very convenient (25 minutes) to the west entrance to Yellowstone. Very quiet and cozy, and a short walk to the snake river. There is a grocery store fairly nearby (5 minute drive), and the property was well appointed with some essentials to facilitate cooking and eating there. Would recommend to others and would stay there again.

Short stay

It was a very nice remodel that was clean and well equipped. It's close to Yellowstone and reseasonably priced. The downside was my wife had an ongoing health problem and we left early.

Stay in the woods

Single wide trailer renovated to look like cabin on the inside. Bring your own pillows and face clothes. Looks like photo's. Only issue was house cleaning and maintenance. 1. The front porch was not sweep when we arrived the deck chairs were plastic both needed cleaning one needed replaced. Porch light needed replaced and clock needed new battery. Other than having to sweep deck we enjoyed our base camp while visiting Yellowstone National Park.

Slumming to go to Yellowstone National Park

DO NOT RENT THIS VRBO. This listing is pure FRAUD. You cannot believe one single word of the listing for this property. It is NOT a cabin, it is an old trailer in a desolate park where you can't figure out if its an RV park, mobile home park, etc. . The listing says its a cabin with a fully 5 star equipped kitchen. It should a -5 star. There is no functioning can opener, dishwasher, garbage disposal, coffee maker, and they only provided ONE dishtowel. If you have that at your home, why would you want to hand wash dishes on vacation. The first night in, we discovered all the falsehoods, plus the bed had clumps of hair on the sheets. Contacted the local "housekeeping/property manager", who admitted the listing said cabin when it is in reality a Trailer. There is a 3rd party management company, EVOLVE, that supposedly handles complaints but after calling them, they sided with the owner and not me the consumer. I escalated to VRBO and they washed hands as well. Worst VRBO EVER! (so much more to tell...worst stay ever!)

My Stay

It was a struggle to find, there’s absolutely no service to connect to in order to find the location, that’s the first thing. Next is that I didn’t get a email telling me the code to the door or anything so that took more time, having to call the help number and talking to them, still barely any service if none. We then received the code for the lockbox which had the house keys in, the code did not work. We tried many times and the lockbox wasn’t opening. Don’t know if it was broke or not because it looked like a piece was broken and missing. Eventually we got into the house by entering that code into the key pad. We got in and everything was nice and clean, there was even a note and some snacks. The chips that were in the box were expired. Overall it wasn’t the best experience, especially the struggle trying to even get into the house and the keys still being in the lockbox, without those we had to leave one door unlock, leaving our stuff at a chance to be getting stolen. Thankfully nothing was but as guests I feel like we shouldn’t have to do all of that, after hours of being in the car it would’ve been nice to simply unlock the door instead of waiting and struggling for another hour and a half. Again overall I wouldn’t recommend or try to stay fully in contact so that you know you have everything you need. That was my stay, writing this is hopes that the owners will do better.

Great Little Cabin

This cabin was the perfect home base for exploring the national parks in the area. It is in a quiet community that I felt perfectly safe in traveling alone. I drove from Bozeman and would recommend shopping for supplies there prior to heading down to Island Park but there is a grocery store about 25 minutes away in West Yellowstone for last minute items… of course stock is limited and the prices are very high there. The kitchen at the cabin had everything I needed to cook meals for the week and on a bad weather day, it was nice to have the TV in the living room to rest and relax with. I would note the Tv in the bed room did not have connection but I am sure someone more technically inclined than myself could figure that out. The tub is very slippery so hang on when getting in and out but it has a removable shower head so I did not see an issue that others had mentioned about it being small. Nights were still very cold while I was here but the cabin was toasty warm with the 2 heaters provided. This was a very cost effective way to spend time in both Yellowstone which was 25-30 mins away and Grand Teton which was about a 2 hour drive. Being from New York, I could not figure out how to open the bear proof garbage can, but the neighbors were very kind and friendly and came right over to assist. I was here when the park was evacuated due to historic floods and could not have been happier to have the cabin to return to as others staying in the park were not as lucky.

Great Get Away

This is a great place to stay and play. We brought out RZR and Boat - we had a hard time choosing what to do every day - so we did both! There are tons of trails to ride almost right out the door. The cabin was a great place to relax at the end of the day.

Our Yellowstone trip stay

The is a very quiet place located about 30 minutes from the park entrance. Owners did a great job remodeling the mobile home making it look like a very cozy cabin. The only negative thing I could say is that the bathroom tub was very high and slippery, making an accident ready to happen. Should be replaced with a walk-in shower. Everything else was great!

Great time, cabin was great

We had a great time staying at the cabin, I was a bit worried before I went as some reviews stated that it’s not really a cabin but a mobile home. That is true, from the outside not what we expected but didn’t matter. Inside was great, very clean and equipped with everything you need and more. Outside it’s located in a great area and has a nice sitting area with chairs and BBQ. It’s about a 30 minute drive to Yellowstone but it’s an easy drive and still close to other attractions.

Nice but wish it was listed as it truly is; a mobile home, NOT cabin

This place was clean, and cozy and over all nice. I just wish it was listed as it truly is, a mobile home with a deck in a mostly mobile home park. The unit itself was nice, clean and cozy, but really small and not so wide as most mobile homes are. The shower was not made for anyone over 4 foot and the bed room was so small but had a huge tv in it so you could hit your head ever time you walked around the bed. All together it was not a bad experience, however, I would have looked for something different if It would have been listed as a mobile home. I felt like for the money, I should have gotten a CABIN and not a mobile home. It was close to most everything we needed, but I would never consider it again and surly NOT put more than two people in there.

Cozy

It was clean, would have been nice to have a better list of what amenities/cookware they had so I could have packed less . The shower/tub was awkward and VERY small. It also was closer to neighbors than listing pictures showed. Overall a really positive visit though. Definitely an upgrade from a hotel experience.

Perfect way to explore ID and Mt

My 13 yr old son and i spent 6 nights here and it was perfect It had everything we needed to ride atv’s, go to Yellowstone, trout fish the snake river and swim in island park lake The cabin was clean and well equipped to cook or get carry out It was a great value for the money I would highly recommend it

Ups and Downs

The property manager did not respond to my attempts to contact her. I left a voice message and it was not answered. On my next attempt, I was told that her mailbox was full. When we arrived at the property, at the correct check in time, the property had not yet been cleaned nor had the laundry been done. Gratefully, the cleaning lady showed up within a half hour, at which time we changed our plans and left the property while she cleaned. It was nicely cleaned when we returned. We were disappointed with the lack of cell service and had difficulty getting the T.V. to work. The sofa sleeper was comfortable, but difficult to fold up. The property was quiet even though there were other homes in close proximity.
