Yellowstone trip
We loved this property. It's in such a beautiful area and close to west Yellowstone and Yellowstone. The cabin had everything we needed. So many options of things to do while staying at this cabin, great for a big family.

Family trip to Yellowstone
We just came back from an awesome family trip to Yellowstone. We loved this house. It was perfect for our group of 10. It was my in-laws in their 70’s, 3 of us in our 40’s and 5 teen kids. The living space has 3 living areas which helped us have room to spread out. The kitchen was well stocked & easy to cook in and the hot tub was fun for the kids & adults at the end of an active day. We loved the convenience of the grocery store less than a mile away and the drive to West Yellowstone & the park entrance was only about 20 minutes away. Perfect home base for our trip! Only downside was the 3rd floor got really hot in July. There are ample fans and windows to open. But we just stuck the kids up there and everyone was fine, haha. Highly recommend this house!

Spacious
I would recommend anyone to stay here because it has so much space and the amenities are great! The location is so convenient to the only grocery store in Island park. The wrap around driveway is a need on this fairly busy street so that is a definite plus. My family had a wonderful time here and would stay here again.

We enjoyed the space (for 11 guests) but a bit dated. Closets were dark, hot tub cover was extremely heavy, fridge door missing bottom shelf, dryer was frustrating to operate, .... all ws doable but inconvenient. No real yard for kids to play in.

Vacation Half Marathon
We had a group of 10 to run the Yellowstone half marathon. Perfect location to the race and to the park. The house was stocked with all necessities to cook. We had a fire 2 nights, beautiful views from the back yard. Would definitely stay here again...

Great cabin for family gathering
We stayed 5 days over the Christmas holiday. Beautiful cabin for our large group. I do recommend having access to snow mobiles if youre saying in the winter time. We were snowed in for a day or two. We enjoyed the hot tub! There's a small grocery store near by that's pretty well stocked.

Excellent stay!
Our family really enjoyed the stay at this cabin. Perfect space, clean and lots to do to keep the kids busy. We liked that there is a bathroom on every level and the entertainment on every level, to accommodate everyone. We really were just 20 minutes away from Yellowstone and that was very convenient.

Property location was really good
We enjoyed staying at this property. We had enough bedrooms and baths for our family. It was quiet and very nice. There was one shower that did not drain and we were standing in water before the showers was over. There were a few things we weren’t aware of. For example: didn’t have extra trash bags, tide pods, extra paper towels, etc. We were good because I took extra. I guess we are use to beach houses.

Great cabin for a family reunion!
Excellent location for our family with children ranging in ages from 10 mo to 17. Close to floating Big springs and a small grocery store. The host was fabulous—very accommodating and responsive. The property had plenty of parking in front and a large grassy backyard for the kids to run around on. The numerous inside amenities came in handy because it rained some everyday— ping pong, pool, several large TVs to watch the Olympics, and hot tub. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would ever need. The crockpot came in handy. It was great to have 3 bathrooms with so many people— one on each floor. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Our trip was a huge success!!

The Cabin in Heaven!
This cabin was perfect for our family gathering in Island Park Idaho! This cabin has a little wear n tare but that just adds to the character and fun to this property. I would not hesitate to use this property again in the future. The size was perfect, the location to the surrounding area is perfect and the host was always quick to respond.

Wonderful time!
The water at the cabin was ice cold, fresh and tasted great. Even w/o AC, with fans and night-time temps n the 40s, it was very comfortable. Mud room provided a lot of storage space for coolers, so the kitchen and living room areas weren't cluttered. The bbq wasn't in the best of shape, we notified the owners and they brought a new one to the property within few hours. Thank you!

Great Price, Great Location.
We were traveling out west to see Yellowstone and the Tetons. It was two families consisting of 4 adults and 6 kids. We stayed in this home 3 nights while visiting YNP each day. It was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Everyone had a bed which was a bonus since everyone was exhausted when we would get home at night. It's in a great area and took us 20mins to get from the house to the YNP entrance. It was super simple beautiful drive and would stay here again. It was great being able to do laundry as well on a 9 day trip!

Fantastic Family Getaway
This property was perfect in every way. It was extremely clean and well taken care of. From the minute we walked in, we felt at home. The property was very nice and very convenient for our family.
We really enjoyed the property and would rent it again. It was on the golf course, near a gas station and store, and near the river where we rafted down Henry’s Fork. There was great parking for trailers and RVs.

Beautiful small town.
We came to see Yellowstone and ended up doing much more. The last day we changed our plans and rented ATV’s since they are so popular out here. Spent all day riding and swimming in the cold rivers. At the end of the day it really paid off when we spotted two moose drinking from Big Springs. Great time. Thanks for allowing us the use of your home.

Roomy Fun
We had a wonderful time being able to have all 18 of us in a home together. We really loved the pool and ping pong table. The kitchen and amenities had everything we needed. It wasn't as clean as we have had with other rentals and have come to expect. The sheets and towels were damp and beginning to smell. We had to wash sheets and towels. The upper floor does get hot in the summer but can be mitigated with fans provided. No A/C in the home.

Jeremiah, we are glad you were able to enjoy your stay at the Two Bear Retreat. We do apologize the sheets were still a little damp. The cleaners were running a little late the day you arrived and were not able to get everything done in time. Great cabin in nice part of Island Park
The Cabin is located in a great spot of Island Park. The winter streets are well maintained and easy to get a trailer into the driveway. The cabin was set up very nice and we all loved the pool table and hot tub. Would highly recommend this property.

Cabin Christmas 2019
We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas at Two Bear Retreat! Plenty of room for that 14 family members that were able to attend. We enjoyed the hot tub while it snowed, playing pool and ping pong and delicious meals from the well equipped kitchen. Their was plenty of room for watching bowl games, crafts and puzzles, and playing games. Communication with the owner was quick and kind. Check in was simple. Many great memories were made at Two Bear Retreat for our family this holiday season! Thanks!

Wonderful home!
We had a great time and loved the house and the location. The back yard is right on golf course with beautiful view and peaceful atmosphere. Yellowstone and horseback riding were close by and our whole trip was fantastic. Our only trouble was the main floor gas fire place wouldnt work even after following special instructions. Otherwise a great place for extended family vacation.

Good, but a few suggestions.
We have a few suggestions to make 2 Bear Retreat more comfortable. We had four family members who could not join us for this vacation, but it would have been very crowded with all eighteen of us there. Since the hot tub is available, I suggest having dedicated hot tub towels. There also needs to be more linen in each of the bathrooms. It would be nice to have a larger refrigerator, or an additional one in the mud room. We had to keep much of our food in coolers. While the home is very comfortable it needs a really good, deep cleaning. I realize it is late in the season and 2 Bears Retreat has been well used, but we found items under some beds and cobwebs in several areas. We loved the location, the home layout is ideal for multiple families, everyone we came in contact with was helpful and friendly. We all liked the decor and found it welcoming and comfortable. We will most likely rent this same property in the future, but will plan accordingly.

We had a great time, the location was great , there were some things that certainly need some attention, the towels and wash clothes, kitchen towels and one wash cloth was extremely limited and if worn and poor quality, that needs to be addressed, there wasn’t even enough towels for our guests to have one and even fewer wash clothes, the soap for the kitchen didn’t even cover the first day, that should have been provided and at least a small soap for each bathroom to wash hands, in addition the upstairs bathroom blind was in pieces and did not provide privacy to the street when we arrived and the dishwasher wasn’t working, these may be small things but with the quality of the property they distracted from our experience, we did love the area and it was quiet, the fire pit was great and the kids enjoyed the hot tub, there was enough room outside to have games.

Lavar, Thank you for your review. We have asked the cleaners to leave soap and 6 towels in each bathroom and there are extra Towels, Wash Clothes and Dish Towels in the laundry room down stairs. I apologize if that was not the case when you were there. We will get the slat replaced in the upstairs bathroom blinds. Thanks again for staying at The Two Bear Retreat.

Great place!
We loved staying here. The place was very nice. It was surprisingly quiet! My little family slept upstairs, and we could hArdly hear the families downstairs. We loved the golf course behind us, as it allowed the kids to run a round a lot. They had firewood placed out for us, a washing machine. We would have liked to have more washcloths. There was only one in our bathroom. But that wasn’t a huge issue. We loved the stay.

Absolutely perfect.
I spent a lot of time trying to find a place to accommodate family coming in from all over the country. We had 14 of us ranging in ages from 6 to 87. The first day we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the gas fireplace and Trent was so patient talking my dad and father in law through it. One requirement was a pool table and it was there. The hot tub is beautiful. We got snowed in one day but had a very large TV and games and didn’t mind a bit, in fact it was fun. Thank you so much for answering all my questions immediately and being a great host/owner. We are already looking at dates for next winter and will be staying here again. Everyone was extremely happy with it!!

Christmas family snowmobile trip
This year we had two families (5 adults and 5 kids) go to West Yellowstone / Island Park for a snowmobile vacation. I spent days online looking for places that not only had enough bedrooms and bathrooms to accommodate two families, but also had parking to handle two large enclosed snowmobile trailers (26ft and 30ft) and the two pulling vehicles. This house had the perfect parking setup as the main driveway is very long and we were able to back the 30ft trailer in, leave enough room behind to unload the snowmobiles and still plenty of room up front to unhook the truck and park it. Then there is a d-shaped parking area next to that where we unhooked the 26ft trailer with plenty of room to unload out the back and park the other vehicle next to it. Very impressed with the parking! Then right inside the house when entering, there is a very large mudroom that was perfect for hanging all our snowmobile gear - you can imagine how much stuff we had with 10 people each with a helmet, jackets, pants, boots, gloves, etc. The rest of the house was nothing fancy, but an overall cozy place. The upstairs had two bedrooms and a bathroom and had the game room which the kids loved as they played plenty of pool, ping pong, and video games. Note: most places I've stayed at before that had a pool table, they all disappointed as the cue sticks were always broken. When I reserved this house months ago, I made that comment to Trent and he remembered that and bought three next cue sticks before we arrived! Those little details make a big difference - thanks Trent! The main floor had the kitchen (had everything we needed), nice little living room area, and two bedrooms with a bathroom in the hall. The downstairs had another two bedrooms, bathroom, and a nice living room area with a very large tv for watching movies. All the bedrooms aren't very large, but it worked for what we needed. Also, Trent just put in a brand new hot tub recently just out the door from the kitchen, and that was nice after a long day out in the snow! Finally, a foot of snow fell one night and the clothes dryer showed a message of 'check vent' as it probably got plugged with snow, and Trent got back to us right away and said there was an extra washer/dryer down in the furnace room - so again, thanks Trent for your prompt responses. With the trails right out of the house and a gas station 1/4 mile down the road, this was the perfect place and will stay there again!

Beautiful cabin, love the surroundings, couldn't have been better.
