'It was a fine hotel. But it didn’t measure up to the glowing reviews I read beforehand. It was newer, so that was nice. I want impressed with the TV in the room. Pretty basic, and no streaming services. Also, maybe it’s my tech ability, but the thermostat was a bit challenging to operate simply. 'Mooi gelegen hotel langs onze roadtrip aan de oostkust. We waren met drie personen en hadden een kamer met dubbele bedden geboekt. De kamer zelf was boven verwachting ruim en compleet. Wat wel tegenviel was de staat van de bank, daar zakte je half doorheen, en de vloer was plakkerig en vochtig. Mogelijk iets met de aurco of overnatig zeepgebruik bij schoonmaken. Helaas iets waar we pas achter kwamen nadat we ons hadden gesettled. Omdat we maar één nacht bleven hebben we dit door de vingers...

'We stayed in room 7. The AC is plugged into a converter which gets so hot, it trips. So the AC turns off, the the converter turns back on so the AC turns back on and makes a beep. That goes on every 10 mins or so u til the converter completely overheats and shuts everything down for an undetermined amount of time. After leaving the AC on all day while we were gone, we came back to a room that was hotter than the outside temperature and it smelled so bad. At this point it was too late to do...

'The room was very spacious and clean. We had a nice view of the water. The front desk representative was friendly at check-in. The only complaint was the breakfast brought to the room. You place an order the night before and it's brought to your room. The food was not good. You had to pay for parking as well.'

'I liked the closeness to restaurants and the Bogue Inlet Pier. This was the main reason for the stay was for fishing. Only negative was the 1 hour delay to get in my room for check-in. The stated time was 3pm and I didn't get in until a little after 4pm.'

'This hotel is really a motel. The photos and description did not begin to compare to the actual property. There were stains on both bedspreads, the bathroom tub/shower toilet were badly stained. The room was so disgusting we checked out 15 minutes after checking in, and decided to find other accommodations, which was difficult. The exterior room entrances were not safe. Do not stay at this property unless you're desperate.'

'Apn arrival and un packing found the refrigerator was not working. Made the call and Andrew was there in 10 minutes and assessed the problem (coil was covered in ice) so he had replaced the fridge in less that 15 minute'

'Everyone was so friendly! Very well-kept property. Comfortable beds. Amazing views, in walking distance to local restaurants and shops.'

'Hotel is a bit dated, breakfast was below average with very limited healthy options, but biggest issue was the noise. Lots of contractors staying here started leveling from 04:30 and then it was constant banging of doors till 07:00'
