We stayed in cottage#2 and the place has been recently renovated with very comfy beds and ac in every rm. If you want to pay 3 star prices but want 5 star amenities this place isn't for you but your okay with 3 star value this place hits it out of the park. note swimming is an issue with all the weeds '

'We had an amazing time at this beautiful property. We enjoyed all the amenities. We particularly loved the indoor hot tub, private dock, the firepit, the large kitchen, and the pool, which was a big hit with the kids. The surroundings were serene and quiet, but there wasn't too much privacy as the property was very close to the neighbours. 'I was very impressed with the setup and the decor of the apartment. It was very convenient to be steps away from the bridge and the main street. Was very grateful that it was pet-friendly. My dog was very comfortable. One thing I would recommend is to add a light in the walkway to the apartment. It was very uncomfortable to be alone walking between the two buildings in the dark. '

'The house is huge - the furniture is quite shabby - couches on blocks of wood. Beds are falling apart. Only sheets provided not a single blanket in the house and only a couple of towels. The outdoor area was completely overgrown and the firepit had no usable area to sit around it. The decks were huge. There was no bbq that was usable and the canoe was full of holes. The upstairs is very odd with a railing around a hole in the middle. Pretty much a waste of space. The railings should be...

'House is spacious and supplies adequate. Just bring your own towels and linens as earlier advised by owner Water supply, hot and cold, is abundant for 12 people. Parking for 5 cars, no problem. Things that can easily be added to make the property more user friendly: 1) Grab bars in bath tubs to prevent accidents. We had two slips and had to grab the shower curtain and avoided a bad fall. 2) Electric fan in each room to address the warm nights of summer. Bought our own fans ar Port Perry...

'The cabin was as expected, clean and cosy. It was the season of chilly nights but the heater kept the cabin warm, during the warmer days we enjoyed the outdoor furniture and park across the road. The location is good, between Lindsay and Peterborough both of which we explored.'

'Everything was great, John was a terrific host and met us there to make sure we knew everything prior to the stay. Location is awesome right on the lake with great sunsets. Tons of bugs but that is to be expected when on the water. Rafts, canoe and everything available to use so no worries about extra packing. We will definitely book again and would recommend this to anyone especially couples. Wifi was a bit spotty but with the lake and the beautiful weather we had there was no need for it!'
