Gerenoveerde omgebouwde schuur aan de rand van de Shiskine-vallei

Prachtig gerenoveerde schuur conversie. Ruim, luchtig en toch gezellig. Perfecte plek voor vrienden of familie om samen te komen. Vijf minuten rijden naar Blackwaterfoot waar u lokale winkels, een golfbaan, een manege, een zwembad en een zandstrand kunt vinden.
Mill Barn staat centraal om overal op het eiland te reizen. De belangrijkste veerhaven in Brodick ligt op minder dan 20 minuten rijden.
Als u fietsen meeneemt, is er een afsluitbare berging voor opslag in de tuin.

Deze schuur Conversion heeft de woonkamer boven met uitzicht op de keuken. Alle andere kamers bevinden zich op de begane grond. Het heeft een natte cel met toilet en wastafel en een doucheruimte met toilet en wastafel. Vier slaapkamers en een kantoor / studeerkamer waar u kunt zitten en werken op uw laptop verbinding maken met de Wi-Fi. Er zijn planken met verschillende boeken, spelletjes en dvd's voor die natte dagen. Er is een wasmachine en een droger, zodat u niet naar huis hoeft te gaan om te wassen. Er is een grote tuin aan de voor- en zijkant die kindveilig is. In de tuin staat een picknickbank voor uw gebruik. In de schuur staan tuinstoelen. Er is ruimte in de schuur om fietsen te stallen.

Beautiful week on Arean

This cottage is well equipped, everything you would need to cook for a family. The second shower room is very small but both showers were great.

Very comfortable & well equipped accommodation

A good location for exploring the west of Arran. The property actually seemed more spacious than in the photos. Comfortable beds & 2 good showers. The kitchen is well equipped, should you wish to prepare & cook your own meals. Local buses pass the door which we used. Also very good riding stables 5 minutes away.

Fantastic property !!

This property was just what we needed for our week away. Beds were made up ready for us, With blankets on just in case. As well as hot water bottles. Plenty of space to store our clothes plus chairs to sit on. Towels for all of us. There was tonnes of space for everyone to have time out in the evenings. Plus dvds, books, games for all. The kitchen was well equipped had everything we needed in there. Including the bits that we may have forgotten. (Tea, coffee, sugar and tea. Hand wash, and fairy liquid, kitchen roll, toilet roll).. A washer machine which is needed for an under 3 year old.!!. The garden was great for the dogs to relax in, plus seating with cushions which were ideal with the great weather we had. The house was in an ideal position for us to travel around. Ruth left us a little treat. Which was lovely to find. Great communication with Ruth throughout the whole visit. It has been fantastic and we will be back again 😁

Another excellent stay!

This is our second time staying at Mill barn and it won't be the last. Ruth is an excellent host and the property was spotless. Its got a lot of charm and character to it and is in a great location short drive from the beach at blackwaterfoot, a visit to King's caves or bellvue farm. Another excellent holiday with the kids. Can't recommend this place enough!

Fab new year stay

Very easy to find and great communication from Ruth before we went meant I felt really well prepared for my trip. The barn is very spacious and well resourced along with being comfortable and lovely for a cosy winter stay - we did lots of cooking and board games and it was perfect. Big thanks to Ruth for providing all the necessary equipment for taking our baby too it was great. We had some lovely walks and runs on Arran and Blackwaterfoot the local town/village has good shops including the bakery! Probably the only downside is that walking from the front door involves quite a bit of walking on road before reaching a path but with a car the options were great!

Fantastic, spacious property in central location

We had a fantastic time staying at this property for a week. It's well located in Shiskine - a great location to access most of the island (assuming you have a car). Very close to Blackwaterfoot which has a few local amenities as well as a lovely beach for walking our dog. The kitchen is very well-equipped for cooking from scratch, which we did most nights. The property is extremely roomy - the photos really don't do justice to how spacious the property actually is! Everything you need is provided, washing machine, towels, etc. Ruth was just fantastic as a host, totally the right level of communication. I would highly recommend a stay here and will certainly be back for our next visit to Arran as a group!

Fantastic Holiday Home. Highly recommended.

After many many years of staying in holiday homes this is definitely one of our best experiences. Mill barn is fantastic. Top quality fixtures snd fittings, spotlessly clean, everything one could imagine in the kitchen and more. Bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. With ten year old twins and a six year old we made great use of the study for crafts etc. The upstairs lounge was lovely and relaxing. Thank you so much Ruth for sharing your lovely home.

Lovely stay in a clean and spacious cottage. No noisy neighbours or much traffic noise. Good position from which to explore the island. Nice touch with the sample of cheese and oatcakes! Dog friendly, and a nice selection of DVD films to boot. Would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely family home

Had a lovely few days at Millbarn, Our host Ruth was so helpful and the thoughtful little extras she left for us were so kind. Dogs and 11 month old loved it, very safe with stair gate upstairs and enclosed garden. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the property to families!

Lovely cottage on amazing Arran

This is a lovely property in Shiskine about 20 minutes from the ferry port at Brodick. Everything was as described and well prepared. The only thing we missed was an iron and maybe a welcome pack would be nice. Otherwise this is fantastic property and given it can sleep 7, great value. The owner, Ruth, was also very helpful.

Stranded!

We had a very comfortable stay made all the easier when the ferries were cancelled and the owner allowed us to stay on at a much reduced rate - much appreciated! We loved staying at the barn and would go back - very homely.
