Séjour à Lewis et Harris
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette maison confortable, accueillante, très bien équipée et avec une vue magnifique sur le loch. Idéalement située pour explorer la totalité de l'ile car à égale distance des deux extrémités de l'ile. Nous avons également apprécié le panier de bienvenue.

Great house with wonderful views
Check in process was straight forward using the lockbox. Property was spacious and clean, very well equipped. Ideal location for exploring Lewis and Harris. Host was very helpful and quick to respond to messages. Highly recommend and would love to stay here again should we visit again.

The house was spotlessly clean, comfy and very well equipped. Little touches like providing a welcome basket of food and a pair of binoculars to watch the wild life in the bay were much appreciated. The location near Balallan is ideal for exploring both Lewis and Harris.

The great unwind
This was our second attempt to travel to the outer Hebrides. We had to cancel two years ago and Anne was so good then, that we rebooked with her. The property is one of the best equipped that we have had. Position was very good for touring. Highly recommended.

A very peaceful retreat .
The property was excellent in every way but it should be noted that the island goes to sleep late Saturday afternoon and doesn’t wake until Monday morning,that did catch us out . For peace and quiet it would be hard to beat and the people were so friendly .

Better than we could have expected. Owner left a welcome pack of tea, coffee, bread, biscuits, milk etc. This was just what we needed as we came of the ferry at 2015 hrs on a Thursday night and there was no shops open at that time. The location and views were excellent and the bungalow was superb.

Lovely, comfortable and spacious house with every convenience. Perfect for a relaxing holiday.. Anne was very helpful answering our questions.Great to sit at the window, watching the local sea eagle at the loch. The weather was amazing, but we really wouldn't have minded either way!

Had a wonderful stay here. The house is very homely with everything you need and immaculately clean. The views are beautiful and it is a half way house from Stornoway and Tarbert so good base for touring around. Would definitely return.

Idyllic holiday home
We had a great week staying at 7 Habost. The house was very comfortable with everything you could need. Brilliant welcome basket awaited us in the kitchen including bottle of wine, bread, cereal, eggs, jam, tea, coffee!! The view was just stunning, beautiful watching sunsets and sunrises. My son particularly liked the fact we were staying next to “Granny Island’s” cottage from Katie Morag!! Perfect location for exploring Lewis and Harris with both being in easy distance. We look forward to our next stay 😊

Beautifully equipped and maintained, almost everything we could ever need. Ann's helpfulness and very generous welcome pack very much appreciated. Great central and accessible location for exploring Lewis and Harris, and a cosy and relaxing place to come home to in the evening when the weather was grim - and we did get a lot of wind and rain! Fantastic holiday in a beautiful cottage
This property was spacious, in a great location and had spectacular views over Loch Erisort from the kitchen and dining room. There were 3 spacious bedrooms, a large bathroom with an excellent shower, an ensuite with another excellent shower, a large kitchen / dining room with a utility room, and a large comfortable lounge. There is also a lovely outdoor space with a picnic bench. The property is perfectly situated at Tabost, making it easy to explore the whole island. I would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone planning on visiting Lewis & Harris.

Excellent in every way.
This is a very good holiday home indeed. The location is tremendous, having both stunning views of the Loch and the really super Ravenshead Visitor Centre within easy walking distance or a couple of minutes in the car. The house is very easy to find. It is roomy and very comfortably furnished to a high standard including the curtains and bedding. Lots of attention to small items that make the difference. Anne Martin was extremely helpful with all my pre-departure questions. Anyone who stays here will be very happy with their choice. A big thank you Anne for caring.

We recently stayed at 7 Habost for 2 weeks. The owner obviously cares about the cottage, it is warm, clean, well equipped, has beautiful views from the back, especially when the sun sets and is ideally located for exploring Lewis and/or Harris. Do try to support the local shops, every little helps, if not try the Co-op in Stornoway. The Seallam visitor centre is well worth a visit and has a good selection of Gaelic C.D.'s. Enjoy your visit, we did xx

Ideal holiday home that exceeded our expectations
We found the cottage immaculately clean and fitted out with everything that one would need for a comfortable stay. We were blessed with unbelievably good weather - clear blue skies, light breeze, 20+ degrees C on occasions - just one morning of rain during the entire week. The cottage was easy to find and conveniently situated to explore the island in all directions. We were fascinated by the birds on Loch Eireasort but disappointed that we didn't see any otters or dolphins as we travelled along the coast - better luck next time. Visited beautiful beaches at Bosta, Uig and Luskentyre. The Golden Road on the east coast of Harris offered breath-taking scenery but we were probably fortunate in taking this route in the evening when it was quiet and almost traffic-free. All in all, this was probably one of the best equipped holiday cottages that I have rented over the last 25 years.

All communication prior to our visit was very friendly and helpful. The directions were accurate, entry to the property easy. The house was spotlessly clean, and the owner provided an unexpected welcome basket which was very thoughtful and included a very kind gift for a special occasion. The location was beautiful on the shore of a sea loch, with ever-changing scenery, it was captivating. We had easy access to all of Lewis and Harris, very different fro.eachother with so much to see and do. We only had 5 days, so intend to return. The Hebrides - Go there!!!
On arrival, the property was immaculate, and the 'welcome pack' a good deal more than average. Experience showed that the cottage is very comprehensively equipped and in a lovely location. We were fortunate with the weather - LOADS of days of sunshine - but unlucky with our hopes of seeing marine wildlife in the loch. Ah well . . . wrong time I suppose. On the other hand, we both learned and laughed at sheep and their lambs.

Thank you Anne and family for a wonderful stay. The welcome pack was great and it was a lovely surprise to find you had gone to the extra trouble of providing us with some gluten free bread for our son. The views and peaceful surroundings were fabulous and just what we wanted after our roadtrip. The bungalow was lovely and clean and so well equipped with everything we could possibly need including a pair of binoculars to look at the wildlife on the loch. The bedrooms are spacious and very comfortable and it was very hard to leave to come home! X In terms of location Tabost/Habost is an easy journey to either of the ferry ports and fairly central for the roads to the main highlights on Lewis and Harris x We definitely recommend it and are planning to return! X
