De matrassen zijn helemaal doorgezakt, lawaaierig op de gangen door de housekeeping. Lekkende douchecabine! Erg jammer hotel is niet zoals het beschreven staat.

plus:for a smoker the rooms with Balcony ,comfy table and chairs plus the spectacular view are a real bonus. Inside the hotel temperature is too high so make sure to have a second key that enabels you to keep the airco in the room on while you are out. Location convenient for Taksim and for tram station into old town. All in all a pleasant stay.

Comfortabel hotel met geweldig uitzicht
Prima ontvangst en vriendelijke bediening. Nieuw, comfortabel en luxe uitgevoerd hotel, van alle gemakken voorzien. Het uitzicht vanuit kamer, ontbijtzaal of skyview restaurant is prachtig, een echte plus om dit te boeken. Veel personeel, al lopen ze elkaar soms achterna of ze wachten op elkaar.

This is a really good high quality smaller hotel. Staff was very attentive to needs and were helpful navigating Istanbul. I would recommend getting the room facing the Bosphorus. It is a really nice view. This location makes for easy getting around. The tram station in a hike down some steep sidewalks. Easy to get to

The best part was the outstanding seaview and the spa (steam room and sauna). The pool was closed. They also have a Starbucks at reception which is open til late. I didn't eat anything but checked out the Skyview restaurant which has awesome views. The staff are very welcoming including Ahmed at the spa. The surrounding area is ok but not upscale like the Beskitas area which is close by and a better choice if that's what you prefer. You can walk to the hotel from the Taskim station but it's uphill or Kabatas tram which is downhill.

Well located but read on….
Great location but suggest you book rooms on the 7th floor and with sea view due to noise. No double glazing so rooms are noisy and cold in winter. Hotel wanted to charge for a guest to stay one night in my room - unnecessary and the receptionist wanted cash. On positive side room 706 was a super size, spa treatment was great and staff and cleaner lovely.

Excellent experience here at the Opera Bosphorus Hotel. It all began with a nice welcoming from Hayri, advice from Yuksek, and excellent service from Erdal with a little daily lesson on Turkish. Overall the staff was always friendly and helpful with advise on how to get around. The view from our room towards the Bosphorus was the nicest thing to wake up to everyday or relax and meditate every night. Location is excellent, with just an 8 minute walk up the street you’ll arrive at the Taksim Square and walk down the famous Istiklal street. Walk five minutes down to the Bosphorus you can start another adventure towards Besikitas, walk to Galataport shopping area, or take the train towards Sultanahmed Mesquite and grand bazaar area.
