They charge per hours which is inconvenient. Staff take 25 mins with each person at reception. dirty toilets. Noisy. The key stopped working so it would not open the toilets, then I had to go to the reception to re-activate. Not value for money. the light would not switch off unless the room key is take off the control. then all electricity including plugs stop so you are unable to charge your phone/laptop. A mess.

If you find yourself with a long layover at Istanbul Airport then I highly recommend treating yourself to absolute peace and quiet. My room had the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in at a hotel, a small office area where I took a work call on the strong Wifi, and a shower with shampoo and body wash supplied for me. The Yotel is centrally located near lounges, shopping, and the nexus of all the terminals. The staff checked me in quickly and in my room I couldn't hear any of the hustle and bustle of the airport.

The staff exhibited unfriendliness and informed me that, due to booking through Expedia, the check-in time was set for 8 PM. However, my intention was to reserve the hotel from 8 am to 2 pm, as we were in transit from the airport. Unfortunately, I was billed for an entire night instead of the intended 6 hours. This resulted in a negative experience.

Oli helppoa siirtyä lennolta seuraavalle ja viettää väliaika kentällä hotellissa. Valitettavasti nukkuminen keskeytyi useasti yön aikana. Tulevat ja lähtevät hotellivieraat paukuttivat ovia ja huutelivat käytävässä. Huoneessa olisi pitänyt olla tuplaovet! Great option for AIRSIDE stay
We were stuck in the airport terminal with a delayed flight and decided to stay overnight here. It was expensive, but we are so glad we did. The beds were comfortable, the shades kept the room dark and quiet, and having the privacy and showers was worth it. I don't expect to be stuck in Istanbul again, but if I came across the need to stay in another Yotel property, I wouldn't hesitiate.

It was nice to have a bathroom & bed in a clean and quiet room during an overnight layover in Istanbul, although it was at a hefty price. My only complaint is that the line for check-in took a long time. It seems that many people had not pre-registered. It would be helpful to have an express line or online check-in for people that have already registered and paid for their stay.

The hotel is located in the airport transit zone, airside, i.e. no need to go through passport control etc. Boarding pass is needed. Just make sure your luggage, if you have any, is checked all the way through to the final destination. If needed double check with the transfer desk before the security check. Obviously the hotel location is very convenient. It is a nice clean comfortable transit hotel. No windows in most of the rooms. Perhaps the only downside is the price / quality ratio. Being almost a monopoly the price is quite high, more than 300 EUR per night for a small transit room. Bear also in mind that standard checkout time is 9am, not midday, so if one needs to stay longer he/she need to pay extras after 9am. Staff members are doing their best in staying connected with customers although the receptionist that checked me in was a bit grumpy, perhaps tired after a long day, no problem. Overall, good but very expensive hotel in the transit zone. Thanks.

Maximum Sleep, Maximum Convenience
We stayed at the Airside of this hotel which is inside of the security checkpoint. That is very convenient between connecting flights. The hallways smelled musty, but the room was clean, cooled off quickly and the bed and pillows were awesomely comfortable! This was a great option vs dealing with airport shuttles and security checkpoint delays. This maximized our sleep and minimized inconvenience.
