Introductie van Sea Glass Cottage, een GEWELDIG appartement met 2 slaapkamers / 2 badkamers op de begane grond met 10 ft plafonds, privépatio's voor elke slaapkamer en volledig uitzicht op de oceaan vanuit elke kamer! Vernieuwde keuken en badkamers met prachtige granieten oppervlakken.

Deze accommodatie ligt direct naast onze zusterlijst, Sea Turtle Cottage, te vinden op VRBO # 1146624. Beide plaatsen bevinden zich in Turtle Dunes (Amelia Island Plantation), dat bekend staat om zijn rustige strand en het prachtige grote Turtle Dunes-zwembad (ons favoriete zwembad in de hele plantage). Elke 2 BR / 2BA aangrenzende woning is ideaal voor uw familie / vrienden om te ontspannen ... OF huur beide panden voor huwelijksfeesten, reünies of grote familievakanties.

Complete decor make-over gereed maart 2018 door een voormalige medewerker van Southern Living. Bekijk de bijgewerkte foto's! Restauratie Hardware stoelen, gewassen tafel, diepe comfortabele bank, donzen woonkamerstoelen, unieke kunst en nog veel meer. Daarnaast zijn nieuwe linnengoed, luxe Turks bad en Southern Tide handdoeken volledig voorradig.

The place is tired. Bathrms need updating. Bathroom cabinet knobs stripped in master bath vanity Inside of dishwasher all rusted and the toilet bowl in main is black under the rim.

Amazing Stay

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at Glass Cottage. The unit has all of the amenities for a great stay. The views are beautiful. We will definitely be staying at this unit for future visits.

Somewhat disappointed

We really liked Turtle Dunes resort, the property was very quiet and well maintained. This condo was a little disappointing. We found that the kitchen trash was not taken out, icemaker did not work but had two ice trays you needed to fill. The master bathroom toilet was not totally clean and the sink in the spare bedroom would not lift or raise the stopper unless you reach und sink to let water out. The furniture in living room was not comfortable, could use a up grade. The tv in living room was a pain, it wouldn’t load Hulu due to not enough memory, figured that out and got it working. The positive was it’s on ground floor and short walk to the beach.

A bit of a disappointment

We picked this place because of the view. And the view from the patios was as advertised. Very pretty. The apartment was also very spacious. But it was quite far from all of the restaurants, shops and activities in Fernandina. So we spent a lot of time in the car. The location is better for someone who wants the resort experience rather than the Amelia Island experience.The communication was terrible. Answers to questions messages or even left on an answering machine - if they came at all/ came after 30 hours. So for example, I asked about coffee and no answer( they had a fancy grind and brew coffee maker but no instructions so ICouldn’t get it to make Coffee. They also had a Faberware K cup coffee maker but no K cups; I’d have happily bought some if they had responded to my questions But they didn’t. There was no body wash in the showers. There was no online or hard copy r commendations for what to do or where to go unlike the place we are in now for half the price . The condo is for sale and it seems like the owners or their management company have qlreqdy checked out.

Wonderful, relaxing stay

We enjoyed our stay with our pup at your lovely condo. It was very clean, nicely decorated, roomy and comfortable. It’s really nice that each bedroom has a screen door to the patios with great views of the ocean and sunrise. The kitchen had everything you might need and bathroom had plenty of towels. There were chairs and beach toys also. We loved having the pool, tennis court, and walking trails throughout the Omni so close by. We will definitely stay again!

Amazing Property!

This is a beautiful place and our condo was so nice. It has a beautiful view of the ocean from anywhere inside. We could watch turtles and rabbits walking around in the grass from our windows. The owners stock everything so well that you only need to bring your clothes and food. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Getaway

The property was just as listed! It was beautiful! Check-in was challenging. Our name was not at the gate, but after showing our vrbo info they set us up. When we got to the condo the code given to us did not work. After calling and texting the hosts and getting no response, i called vrbo. They were great and assured us that we would not be stranded. They called the locksmith who came after an hour. He was fantastic and we got in! Pool code that was given also did not work but some nice people helped us out. The hosts did respond early evening and were very apologetic. They did accomadate us for our troubles. Mistakes happen. All was good and we had a fantastic time! We would definately book this again!
