Beautiful home away from home
The home is beautiful. The master suite is spacious and luxurious. This home has all the amenities and accommodations. There is a lot construction in the area. Overall experience was excellent and the host (Jason) response quickly.

Great location but needs some updates
It is obvious there is an issue with the master bedroom shower. Previous review and directions prove there are issues with the faucets. We called the property manager because we could not get it shut off correctly and the notes said it could flood the kitchen. The way the wand handle was facing it sprayed you with water while trying to adjust the multiple faucet handles. Property manager was condescending about us needing assistance. I mentioned there should be better directions. I think he thought i said directions in general because he said there are and after we finished talking text me the directions. The directions are in the bedroom not the bathroom. As the directions are listed it starts at what would make more sense as the last step. The off valve does not shut everything off if the diverter is not in the correct position. No direction written or verbally given on how to get the diverter in the right position when we were in the phone. Above the fridge were alot of cobwebs, dirt on the wall next to fridge. The master bathroom sink faucets need to be replaced or cleaned better. The house is decorated beautifully and the porches are great. There was a full washer/dryer but we didnt need to use it. Plenty of dishes and cookware

This was a horrible stay, not until after paid rules sent can’t change the ax and the house was hot as hell. Said can turn to 70. But locked thermostat to not be able to change temp. Fans are on slow so couldn’t even turn them up. House smells like old cooking grease, the plumping is horrible. The water faucets have so much calcium build up it goes all over the place, the master shower has poor drainage so standing in ankle deep dirty water in shower then there’s shower itself turned wrong way it’s a leak to the kitchen. Beds are not comfortable . Wi-Fi is slow, and barely works. The neighborhood is sketchy. You can hear the neighbors outside all night. Parking is used up by everyone else so can’t even park in front of house.

Would recommend property. Very clean. House was built in 1911 but updated. Neighborhood is an urban downtown location. Some extremely nice homes along with some rough areas. Only negatives ; kitchen cookware needs updating. Frying pans old, no baking pans. Plenty of dishes and utensils. Master bath is stunning. Drains do not drain properly. Water standing in shower due to slow drainage. Water pressure in modern sinks has been reduced to allow drains to empty. Price was a great value. Positives definitely outweigh negatives.

Beautiful home, great stay in Jacksonville
My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay in this home. Very quiet neighborhood and convenient location to most places we chose to visit in town. Jason was quick to respond to any question or concerns, though we had very few. The pictures were a very accurate presentation of the home which was very clean. Street parking was not a problem. We would not hesitate to book another stay at this property on our next visit.

Awesome stay!
My partner and I stayed here for 2 weeks. The house was clean, the neighborhood was lovely, much better than what some other reviews suggest. Jason was a lovely host, and the house is in a location that is a short drive from mostly everything in Jax. About 20-30 minutes from the airport. Will probably book again next time we take a trip to Jax!

Wonderful property, slightly rough neighborhood
The house was beautiful and comfortable, and only minutes from downtown with easy access to all other parts of the city. The neighborhood itself is up and coming but not the safest feeling with the amount of homeless in the area. Still a wonderful place to stay.

Amazing house but not so clean
The house itself is amazing—but it wasn’t clean whatsoever … and i’m not a germaphobe, but I was pretty disgusted. Parking directly in front of house mostly not available—and it’s a neighborhood that’s being revitalized so I wished I could have parked in front of the house. I did let the owner know about not being clean and parking issue. I also asked for ac to be lowered at night but that didn’t happen (house rules says you can set to 70, but it’s locked at 72). Porches and balcony not used because not clean.

Downtown Charmer
This stunningly, redecorated home looks like it is right out of an HGTV episode. No expense was spared in totally rebuilding this beautiful, century-home. While the neighborhood is still a work-in-progress, it's downtown location was very convenient to all highways, local golf courses and immediate restaurants. In more than 20 years of renting through Vrbo, this home is definitely in the running for most upscale home we have ever rented....

A great weekend in Jacksonville, FL
My wife and I wanted to experience something a little different, and the historic Springfield District delivered. The house is adorable and comfy. Once we figured out the heating/cooling, the property exceeded all of our expectations. There were plenty of cool places to hang out within a 20-minute walk. We LOVED the 1748 Bakehouse — the best latte I've had in quite a while.

Luxurious Master Bath
Location was extremely convenient for our purposes. Master bathroom is the very best part of the whole house. Awesome! Jason was excellent in communicating prior to arrival and in answering questions. This property is in an older neighborhood that is undergoing rehabilitation. Kitchen and bathrooms are extremely modernized and updated. We enjoyed eating at The Cookbook Restaurant just a few blocks away. Excellent internet access. Plenty of towels. The upstairs with three bedrooms was very comfortable. Plenty of TVs, including one in the master bath.

This is a stunning property as the pictures portray. I rented this for family members who were there to support me while I had surgery at the Mayo. I’ve stayed in many places over the years and this house was, hands down, the most opulent space I’ve ever had the pleasure of vacationing. The owner, Jason, was incredibly communicative and a perfect host. The home has been pristinely renovated and decorated, keeping all the period touches while adding modern amenities. Great stylish home
Perfect getaway, I loved the high end appliances, the interior decorator or owner did a wonderful job making this house feel like a home. Unique and classic, but also very calming and serene. Easy to locate and close to everything. The host was also very pleasant and accomodating.

Beautiful Renovation
This property was as beautiful as the pictures portrayed. We enjoyed walking to a restaurant down the street which was recommended by one of the neighbors. My husband and I lived in New Orleans and this area reminded us of all the beautiful old houses in the Garden District. Had it not been raining most of our stay we would have enjoyed walking more of the area. Guess we’ll have to go back! Jason, the owner did a great job of communicating and giving clear instructions on accessing the property and his expectations for our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Spacious townhouse
This recently remodeled 1914 townhouse blends the old with the new. Plenty of space with two bedrooms and two full bathrooms plus a half bath downstairs. Kitchen has everything you need. Nice patio to sit outside both upstairs and downstairs. Very clean. Plan on having a car available as there is very little within walking distance. It is located in a transitional residential neighborhood. Since we had places to be both east and south of downtown Jacksonville it was an good location for us. The owner, Jason, was very responsive by email to any questions that we had.
