Dit mooi ingerichte stadshuis aan het einde van de stad, gelegen in North Topsail Beach, biedt u en uw gezin het beste van twee werelden - fantastisch uitzicht op de oceaan en het geluid! Geniet van het uitzicht op de oceaan vanaf de 2 zonnedekken aan de voorkant of het prachtige geluid vanaf 3 zonnedekken vanaf de achterkant.

Dit vakantiehuis ligt ongeveer 13 mijl ten noorden van Surf City verkeerslicht in North Topsail Beach aan het noordelijke uiteinde van Topsail Island. U zult hier genieten van de rust en stilte! Bezoek de Sea View-pier of rijd naar de nabijgelegen Surf City of Snead's Ferry (vlak bij het eiland) om restaurants en winkels te bezoeken. Zorg ervoor dat je enkele lokale attracties bezoekt, zoals het Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Hospital en het Missiles and More Museum dat het verhaal van het verleden van ons eiland vertelt.

Relaxing beach getaway

My family and I spent the week here and can’t say enough good things about the property. It’s right across the street from the beach on the inlet side so best of both worlds from a view perspective. The location is quiet and only about a 15min drive to restaurants and grocery stores. We would definitely come back!

The upside of the house is that it is in a great location. The downsides of this house are: the dishes, pots and pans were dirty and greasy. The chairs at the dining room table need to be replaced. They are very cheap. Customers should not be charged for towels and bedding.

Great location but needs needs better cleaning

Overall, it was a nice property and great location with great views. It was decorated really cute and very nice, big rooms. It needs better attention in cleaning between renting. We felt like downstairs smelled like cigarettes(all week) and came into sandy and sticky floors. I tried vacuuming but it just threw everything behind me and never sucked anything up. Couldn't find a dust pan to use brooms. So if thats what housekeeping has to use it is no wonder floors were not up to par in cleanliness.

Great property, close to beach in NTB. Love bay views

We were comfortable in this well equipped property. 3rd floor Master Bed comfy, just be prepared for the hike 2nd floor kitchen and great room is where we spent our time; well equipped for cooking great meals, streaming and cable TV, internet stayed connected but proved low bandwith at times (with a dozen of our devices) 1st floor two bedrooms just right for a couple each, sharing a bathroom. Overall great value. Check-in and communication: You'll be dealing with Ward Realty, not the individual owner. They are efficient and send abundant text messages and emails. However, they did not allow check-in on our chosen VRBO-reserved day (a holiday), so we had to move the itinerary to a day earlier (costing us additional day's rental). This type of discrepancy should not occur on VRBO, and is the first time we've had difficulty with dates of a confirmed reservation.

Perfect location!

We had a wonderful stay in this townhouse, it has everything you need. We especially loved the views out the back and the closeness to the beach. We got up early every morning and walked the beach and found some wonderful shark teeth. Can’t wait to come back. It’s also in a quiet area and many times had the beach to ourselves.

Beautiful place to stay. Full kitchen, so you make delicious meals and set on the kitchen deck and watch the waves or set on the living room deck and watch the birds on the sound. I loved drinking my coffee on the master bedroom deck. It was so peaceful. This house was so nice and cleaned and peaceful.

Well decorated, clean beach home

This was our 2nd time staying at “Island in the Sun.” We love the not-so-crowded beaches and the people are friendly. This home is beautifully decorated and clean with plenty of plates, utensils and appliances. Enjoy sunrises over the ocean-side balcony or sunsets from the sound-side balcony or on the gazebo.

Great location, beautiful place, fun for all!

Just arrived home after a week at Island in the Sun. It was our first time on Topsail Island. For my wife and 5 little ones, it was the perfect week away. We loved the house inside and out. Out the front door and it was a 100' or so to the beach, and out the back was the sound to canoe and kayak on. House was nicely decorated as a beach house and very cozy. It was very good!

Email with owner was very good! Reasonable rates. Picking up key code and etc. after hours went without a hitch. Location of townhouse was great; beautiful beach! Townhouse is very spacious and the beach décor is nice. Everything was clean, not immaculate but clean. Only one issue but it was not a problem. Master bathroom toilet leaked out the tank when flushed. I let the owner know and she offered to have someone come out to fix it; but because it was Thanksgiving weekend we didn't ask for someone to come and repair it as there were other toilets we could use. I was surprised that linens aren't supplied, but we knew ahead of time and brought our own. We decided at the last minute to spend another night and because it was the off season there were no guests coming in behind us and all went well with the transaction. I would stay again and I would recommend it to others. My grandson is at New River Marine Base about 30 minutes away and the townhouse gave us a homey atmosphere to spend Thanksgiving with him. Our stay was fabulous! Thank you!

Great location between sound and beach!

Almost oceanfront, just a short walk from the front door to beach access, and the bonus of being just as close to the sound ICWW out back, with wonderful sunsets. The house is comfortably decorated like a beach cottage. Loved the outdoor shower, and private master suite. Enjoyed coffee and dining on the decks. The community is nicely cared for, and has a gazebo on the sound side, and an area to rinse off coming off the beach.

Great fun in the sun!

The location is perfect!The sound was beautiful in the mornings and across the street the ocean. The villa was clean and well stocked. It had lots of room to sit and relax after a long day at the beach.We loved the private shower area under the villa.
