'Incredible cabin and overall experience! From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. 'The sugar shack was a great place to stay with my husband and daughter. Being right on the lake was amazing. It was just enough room for the three of us. The grill was in great condition, we grilled out each night of our stay. I think it’s important for anyone staying here knows that getting to the house from the top of the driveway and getting down to the lake could be challenging if you have any mobility issues. 'The house is very cute little place for a stay on the lake. The bedroom with 2 beds had several dead bugs along the wall, maybe just need cleaned a little better. Overall house was very cute. There are, I believe, 62 steps down to the dock, where the kids lived jumping off and enjoying the water. Thank you for having us. Loved the painting on the dining room wall. Best view around. '

'We reserved this Vrbo when we had to travel to Pell City for our daughters state softball tournament, which was located almost next door! When we arrived the house was very clean and the host provided us with more than we expected! Barbara was very accommodating to our crazy schedule, which we appreciated SO much!
