'The private room was very clean and just big enough to stretch out. The air conditioning was very strong. Nikki, the receptionist on duty during our stay, was a wonderful help to us and devoted some of her own time helping us plan our time in Jaco. The pool is lovely, and the hostel owners make a wonderful Gallo Pinto for breakfast every morning.'

'Room was clean and we loved the balcony. Great for watching the sunset. Beds were a little hard for my liking but we were exhausted after running all day so we still slept fine lol. A/C was great after being out in the heat. The hotel is beach front and a short walk to the main street for shopping. Gustavo was so awesome. He gave us food recommendations and helped set up our massages. He was ready for whatever request we threw at him. Awesome! The included breakfast next door at Kokos was...

'Dit hotel is pas een paar maanden open. Alle kamers hebben uitzicht op zee. Uitstekend ontbijt (niet inbegrepen in ons geval) en je kunt er ook prima eten. Nog wel een paar kinderziektes: de eerste avond hadden we geen warm water (werd wel snel opgelost). Op dag 3 deed de lift het niet meer door hevige regenval. Lastig als je kamer op de 6e etage is en je knieproblemen hebt. We kregen gelukkig wel een andere kamer is de andere toren, maar toiletartikelen en schone kleding hadden we op dat moment...

'Free fresh breakfast was local Costa Rican style with eggs, rice and beans, and cheese with bread. Served till 9. Air conditioner in the room worked very well. Staff was very attentive and helpful. Beds firm but decent. Grounds are like an oasis between the ocean and busy main street, where you can buy more refreshments and find many restaurants. Decent pool. Very local feel. Small oldschool hotel. Will return'

'The only good thing about this property is the location. I had a private room. The room looked good when you first enter and it has AC. However, the wifi did not work in my room, only the common area. When I was about to go to bed, I noticed there were ants crawling all over the two beds! There were ants also in the bathroom. I tired to contact the concierge (which are just people in their 20’s working there) but they clock out at 11pm. '

'Super clean room, great location. Central to everything. Music is loud until two in the morning, but it’s a party town so kind of expecting that. I would stay there again.'
