'Base to see sights of Banyuwangi. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the Indonesian breakfast was ample. Car required for this location. There is a shop across it that does general provisions and simple meals. Also went out of their way to purchase meals from outside. The room I booked did not have the advertised mountain view, and the shower room lacked a sink. '

'We enjoyed our stay at Dialoog. It is too far from the center to walk, but you can ask for a driver, get a bluebird taxi yourself or ask the hotel to rent their bikes. We were given an upgrade of the room which was very enjoyable. However I still suspect my mom who was travelling with us but was staying at a different hotel, haha. But the view is amazing, the food (depending which items) are enjoyable and the room we had was very nice. Roomservice is late so if you take that in mind than it...

'Room not very clean, but nice bed, quiet. Nice bathroom. Pool needed to be cleaned, many dead leaves. Beach access available at a short distance. No second key available for my wife. Good breakfast available early, 6:00, but coffee tasted like chicory.'

'We stayed at this hotel for one night on our way to Bali. It was a beautiful hotel and comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious and clean. The pool was so inviting. We would definitely stay here again when we come back!'

'Heerlijke oase van rust. Wij zaten hier drie nachten, in combinatie met de Ijen tour. Het hotel bood alle faciliteiten om lekker tot rust te komen na de zware klim. Het restaurant was het enige minpunt. Dit lag met name aan de niet zo uitgebreide kaart en kleine porties. Wij zouden het hotel zeker aanraden.'

'We really enjoyed our one night stay here! The staff were kind and helpful, even giving me tips for getting to the hotel from the ferry over Whatsapp ahead of time. The room was comfortable and pretty with great air conditioning. There were two adorable tiny cats who hung out on the premises who we loved making friends with :) We didn't use the shared kitchenette for anything except the water cooler and fridge, but it was nice to have. Great place!'
