The bed was in a pathetic condition, the mattress was stained with human secretions and was sagging from center. Mattress was covered with mattress cover, couldn’t sleep the whole night. Complaint was reported to the duty manager Bhavuk and he had no answer to the complaint, he assured me of connecting me to the general manager but till now no news and to my utter surprise, when I called, he did not pick up the call and never called me back. Very poor response on the management’s part. Not at all value for money. This was my first stay with Royal Orchid, Jaipur and probably the last. We are on a family vacation to India but started on a very bad note.

Ein Anruf der Rezeption um 1 Uhr morgens (!), wir sollten bitte die Tür öffnen!? Es war keiner vor der Türe...an der Rezeption wusste man davon am nächsten Tag nichts. Der 2te fehlende Bademantel wurde schnell aufs Zimmer gebracht...aber am nächsten Tag wieder entfernt... Am 3ten Tag gab es nur noch Duschhandtücher, keine kleinen sog. Gästehandtücher. Die Indien, für Europäer wichtigen, verschlossenen Wasserflaschen gab es nicht (das habe ich noch nie erlebt in Indien ä, und das war mein ca. 20ter Besuch), sondern nur die vom Hotel abgefüllten Flaschen. Wir haben die mitgebrachten genutzt und für den Tee das vom Hotel abgefüllte abgekocht. Eine Reihe von Kleinigkeiten, die aber bei dem Preis v.a. in Indien (anderswo auch) nicht akzeptabel sind. Das Buffet zum Frühstück und Abendessen war gut und angemessen.

Fabulous stay and awsum experience
Amazing experience having stay at Hotel royal Orchid. The staff at the hotel were so down to earth and taken care for everything thing .. right from hygiene, food and stay. The chef use to take care of all the guest while they have their meals and personally visits to check if the guest need anything else. The hotel is just 10 mins away from Airport. Must stay at this hotel if one visits Jaipur. Thank you

I enjoyed my stay in Royal Orchid. It's an airport hotel, so if you need to fly it's perfect, but besides from that there is not much going on in the area, and there is alot of traffic. The food is okay, but as a foreigner I do miss more continental choices. The internet was slow. Good service and over all good experience

Okay stay, might stay again.
Since I was visiting the hospital nearby, it was convenient for me. The doormen, room service people were very warm and helpful. The front desk staff were not. Usually very curt, as if they were not comfortable in their jobs, and just want to get done. This despite the fact that I speak the local language.

Terrible hotel with rude and inefficient staff
The staff was rude in their attitude and very slow in things they do. They told me one price when I checked out and they said that there was nothing else I had to pay. However, upon reaching the airport, their staff called the airport staff and told me that I have to pay 900++ ruppees extra. This is ridiculous as they are trying to overcharge me. Their staff were also impolite when I asked if they have any available rooms before I checked in. The hotel cleaniless and the noise of the room was unbearable. Highly not recommended!

Nice hotel, close to the airport.
Room and service were great. Room fr improvement regarding the breakfast (especially the coffee !). A bit expensive as well.

Avoid this hotel!!!
After travelling through india for 3 weeks and staying at numerous hotels, this was my least favourable hotel. reception staff were the most unfriendly. The room 440 I stayed in was next to some service area and there was constant noise through the night and early morning which made a good nights sleep impossible. At breakfast there were not enough tables and every time I woke up from my table to get something from the buffet, I was replaced by another customer and was left holding a plate of food in my hands with no where to go. This was even after asking the staff if I could sit at an empty table. They did not have the courtesy to tell the next customer it was taken. The towels were dirty as well as the carpet under the bed. This hotel has nothing around it, it is close to the airport,I confused my booking with the other Royal orchid which was in the city and was unable to transfer my booking as I was told they have different owners.

Good hotel.. with not so good services
Our stay was good at royal orchid. Hotel condition and room comfort were pretty good. Hotel has good connectivity to bypass roads so getting to places like jaigarh fort and chokhi dhaani is easy although the view from room windows isnt et all pleasing. I would suggest to take garden facing rooms; I think they would be comparitively better. Now coming on to the services of housekeeping, they do no meet the standards of a 4 star property. Even a paying guest house services are better. Things like tea bags and sugar was delivered by housekeeping after requesting twice or thrice and sometimes even after 4 times. No welcome drink was served even after reminding twice and that too when its a part of the package. Breakfast was overall good with ample options for vegeterians and hardly anything for non vegeterians.

Stay was very comfortable. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was excellent. I would like to stay here next time I am in Jaipur.

Good luxurious hotel with cooperative staff
This hotel is located close the airport and quite far from the main city. The overall experience was very good. Areas of improvement... ... The gym is quite small and the pool though nice, needs better maintainence.

Not women friendly, No salon, No proactive service
When I checked in-no welcome drink, no bag guy-the reception guy brought them to room but gave no introduction to main switch/airconditioning.Housekeeping lackadaisical.Spent 2 sleepless nights because of heat, no electricity in the bathroom-wardrobe. Hotel not resourceful. Asked to arrange for a driver for my car, they couldn't source one saying either rent or use hotel car. I had a driver come from gurgaon to jaipur next day. Instead of hotel car in evening, I was given a rental suv,the drive was ready to drive my car for a whole day for 70% of the price that I paid for a pickup and drop. For lack of sleep & service I complained and asked for the free wifi my booking said they provide but on checkin didn't - they offered only 1 hour of wifi. I insisted on 4 hours for rest of the stay. They also did quaint housekeeping hearts/swans made of towels & flowers & a bouquet,attentive housekeeping after I moved rooms. AC was still bad, rooms get stuffy and hot at night! Location is far from old city in traffic. A flyover is being constructed here so front of hotel is deserted. If I hadn't taken my own car, public transport would have been problematic. First room had a potty handshower whose pipe went into the dustbin. On the last day, in second shower I discovered the bathshower was broken! I hadn't noticed it because of the ceiling shower. Extremely lukewarm water instead of hotwater. Hotel quality had me confused as brand supposed to be decent. Not a Taj or Oberoi.

Good Value
It was a pleasant stay at the royal orchid hotel. The hotel is good value for money if you dont travel too much into interiors of Jaipur. The travel from the hotel to the interiors could be a little expensive. The hotel rooms are good and clean with good amenities. The food especially Indian is good. It has a decent breakfast spread though the continental bit could be a tad better. Over the staff is quite pleasant and offers good and prompt service.
