As a Fairmont advocate prior to my stay, I can say I'm an advocate no more. I went in the suite and the first impression was good. It was very spacious, and other than the very old-school, pixelated TVs they had in the suite, everything was good (A TV update is needed though). My issues had to do with the service from many of the staffs. There was the instance where I couldn't find the room information (ie. in room dining menu, etc), and when I called for the information, the housekeeping came trying to argue that the information was indeed there. I did try searching, maybe I just couldn't find it, it was late at night and I didn't need anyone arguing about a QR code. But my greatest trigger was when we were just done swimming, and I genuinely had the hotels' best interest as I wrapped myself in towel to avoid water dripping as I go to my room. I was met halfway by a staff member who arrogantly said(without any greeting) quote translated "the towels can only stay here, you cannot bring it to the room", and when we were about to leave the towels, he walked away while muttering (quote translated) with a very condescending tone "i told you so already". I honestly haven't met the person before, and he said that. Regardless, it was such a disappointing experience. Had one of the worst sleep in a hotel. I was in the 19th floor but I can here cars passing like they were right outside my room. It was that loud and my whole family couldn't get a good night rest.

This is my second stay at The Fairmont and fortunately they've mantained their high quality of service. Our room was spacious and in excellent condition. The staff are warm and polite without being intrusive. Breakfast buffet has a vgood choice of local and international dishes. Just a tip tho, be patient at the reception desk. Some guests take a v long time to check-in or out. When they are busy you may wait awhile. Jakarta Fairmont is a luxury hotel in a nice neighborhood. Highly recommended.

This is my second time to stay at Fairmont Jakarta and, as usual, I was not disappointed. The rooms are big and drinking water is aplenty. The staff is courteous and polite. The hotel is connected to the Plaza Senayan mall where shops and restaurants are many. Cross the street and Senayan City mall is another place with more shops and restaurants.

This is the second time I stayed in this hotel. And in both times we have to wait until 4pm to get our room. Extra bed was said to be sold out when I check in before 1 pm. And yes, 3 hrs waiting is no joke. If you need to rest early dont choose this hotel. There are plenty other hotels.

Located in Senayan ideal location for business travelers, the hotel is clean and provides great hospitality.The hotel duty manager Adrian is very helpful and follow through matters.The staffs were very helpful.
 Overall experience was awesome. I'll return to this hotel again during my next business visit knowing that they are efficient and meet my requirements.

We enjoyed an extended stay at the Fairmont very recently to watch our son’s team compete at the ASEAN Football competition. Loved everything about the hotel. The premises were clean, food was excellent in all the outlets including room service and the staff, accommodating. Location was right across one of the stadiums used for the games. Will stay here again should I return to Jakarta.
