Ants!
The building is still relatively "new", about 10 years old, but it desperately needs a thorough updates. Avoid rooms with carpets (they have ones with tiles). The problem would be the under-staffing, even that they were very nice and respectful to guests. The rooms are large, the bed is large with good, firm mattress, and they have a (not-so-cold) fridge and plenty of cabinet space to store your items. I can see it used to be a pretty nice hotel, but at this current condition, I would not recommend anyone to stay more than 2 nights there, even though the price seemed to be pretty low for the area. Everything is falling apart. We had issues with ants, most likely because guests would put their dirty dishes in front of their rooms and it remained there for many hours with nobody picked them up. Towels were old and had many dirt spots, molds in the bathroom, etc. The positive thing we had was the food. It tasted above average for 2 or 3-star hotels with free-breakfast. Coffee was amazing. They had an egg counter, but as the hotel is understaffed when we stayed, sometimes there would be no one there, and many times the security guard at the front had to multitask and also became the cook for the egg counter. It was a bit funny to see when you stayed longer enough to observe. I would not blame the staff, as they already did the best they could, but the Dreamtel hotel management had to update the hotel and also add more staff.

Cons: Room was not soundproof so I got woken up every morning at 4am from prayers nearby. Not a single night of good rest for 10 nights of stay (no intention of disrespect to my Muslim friends, I respect their praying). Water flows very slowly down the sink and sometimes had to stop the tap to let the water flow off first otherwise the sink will flood. The walls in the shower were mouldy that I moved carefully within the shower glass. Cleaning really needs to be done. Wifi was slow at best and only works normally when device is near the door. Not able to load HD videos on youtube without pausing. Breakfast was ok but the meats and veggies seemed to be leftover from the day before because they tasted real hard. Pros: Housekeeping was prompt and housekeeper was a nice young chap who did his work diligently. Aircon in room was good. Location was good and near to a lot of malls so Grabcar and GoCar are all cheap. Staff always greeted us with a smile and were quick to provide assistance. 5 star customer service!

Sincere attitude
This Hotel is not a High Grade Hotel, but a Comvinient Hotel. Fee is not expensive, but reasonable. Service is Sincere and Convinient. Unfortunately I left my Mobile Gadget in the room, but It would be returened fortunately.

The photos seems was pictured when the hotel opened , but now its too old and dirty. , and for breakfast I didn't eat any day during my stay because there is no variety of food its just 2 tables with few Indonesian food , I don't recommend at all

Inexpensive hotel in a great location. However I would not recommend to accommodate business guests here as the level of hygiene isn’t on an acceptable level in global terms. The nicest bit was the all smily and friendly staff! Pros: • convenient location • decent breakfast included • toiletries, safety box, hair dryer - all nice bonuses • working wifi • friendly staff members Cons: • lack of cleanliness. There were lipstick marks on the wall, dirt around the doors and toilet seat etc. Pretty stained linen and towels as well. • non-smoking room had been smoked in. The smell was gross and floor carpet had cigarette holes. • room fridge was plucked and on, but hot as a microwave • proximity to a mosque and it’s rather lengthy morning prayers from 4am onwards kept awake

Pleasant stay for 1 night.
Great for overnight stay. Higher than my expectation. Location is good, near to everything I need to reach. We didn't try the breakfast as we were on hurry. A new building constructed beside the room cover the light from the outside. Big window in room feel useless. Good thing was the lighting inside the room is acceptable. Our phone provider signal is bad inside the room, worst part, wifi isn't working most of time our stay. Overall it's acceptable since we didn't stay in room whole day.

This place is trash.
The wifi is always so slow you cannot do anything. When I call to ask why the wifi doesnt work they just say "Yeah it's slow" Never go here. There's no wifi.

Przyzwoity hotel w przyzwoitej cenie
Hotel położony w centrum w bezpośredniej bliskości centrów handlowych i fajnych knajpek, 10 minut od dworca kolejowego Gambir. Przyjazna i pomocna obsługa, czysto, jak na warunki indonezyjskie. Doskonały wybór na 2 - 3 dniowy przystanek w Jakarcie. Śniadania trochę monotonne, ale jedzenie smaczne.

Hotel ini adalah salah satu alternatif yang dapat dipilih. Lokasi yang mudah dijangkau dengan berbagai moda transportasi, kamar yang nyaman dengan desain minimalis beserta perlengkapan yang menunjang : kulkas, teko listrik, hairdryer, televisi, dst. Juga menu sarapan pagi dengan berbagai pilihan hidangan. Sangat disayangkan hotel ini menarik deposit tunai Rp.100.000. Jumlah yang terlalu besar untuk hotel yang tergolong masih baru.

Good for short stay in jakarta for leisure trip.
Good hotel, near to Monas which is centre of tourist place and near to plenty shopping mall. The condition of room is average but the breakfast not so good, lack of service and waiter at the cafe.

I stayed in 2 different rooms and they couldn't have been more different. The first couldn't have been nicer. Marble bath, all new fixtures, etc. the 2nd room was run down: stained commode, hot water faucet in sink didn't work, broken cabinet in room, walls covered with scrap marks, etc. a roll of the dice: could be excellent, could be awful.

Bra hotell med stora rum. Internet bra då det väl fungerade men ibland fungerade det inte. Gångavstånd ett par hundra meter från närmsta pendeltågsstation. Nära med Taxi till största gallerian Grand INDONESIA.
