Hotels in de buurt van James Brown African American Room (Newark)

'We stayed at the hotel last week. Despite previous reviews, we experienced our stay as very pleasant, both the hotel and the surroundings met our expectations. The hotel is a great base for the Prudential Center and for NYC!'

'The staff here is so nice and friendly and was able to accommodate us late into the night after we left our previous hotel due to terrible service and a dirty room. The hotel here is either newly remodeled or is newly built. I am leaning towards newly built since everything is so nice and clean. Nothing smells in the rooms. The AC is working amazingly. There is no AC smell at all. The bathroom is nice and brand new with no mold. The beds were clean and well kept. The view was also very nice and...

'Great location, but unfortunately, the hotel was very old, outdated, and not very clean. The staff were not particularly helpful. We were initially placed on different floors and had to ask another staff member to move us to the same floor. Overall, the location was the best part of our stay, but the hotel definitely needs improvement in cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.'

'Hotel was already know to us and knew hotel is old and not more than 3 Stars but close to the location we needed to be in Newark. We arrived midnight and got an upgrade which was highly appreciated. '

'It's a nice looking property from the outside but not in the best of neighbourhoods. The smoke detector on the 2nd floor didn't have a cover on it so not sure if it worked. I had to ring the owner up at 23.00 as I couldn't get the front door opened. You had to pull the handle as you entered the door code.'

'This was the most terrible place I ever seen verie ghetto in the hood front door wide, open people could come in and go as they please, no security or surveillance.I had no key for my room.It was a shared space which they didn't say in the beginning run , when you see the name of this motel'

'Terrible'

'Tastefully decorated, charming, and impeccably maintained. If you had told me that this hotel just opened, I would believe it - there are no signs of wear and tear, and the place is spotlessness. There was a little bit of noise from traffic outside, but it is hard to imagine any place in north Jersey where this wouldn't be the case. All in all, I'd have to say that this place is a gem.'

'Housekeeping should do a little better (there was hair in the sink when we got there), but everything else was fine. The staff were very helpful and kind!'

'The Path (metro) zit onder hotel dus zeer goede bereikbaarheid.'

'Schone kamer, bijna stil. Personeel was erg aardig zowel bij de receptie als restaurant als schoonmaak. Fijne locatie zeer dichtbij Path Grove street station. Goede bedden, mooie badkamer, 10 dagen lang goed geslapen.'

'Bezoek aan New York. Kamer is niet groot maar je hebt er alles wat je nodig hebt. Ontbijt is goed. Personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Path station Newport (metro) naar New York ongeveer 10 min lopen. Met een klein half uurtje sta je op 33th street of het WTC.'
