'Although this is a older establishment, it has been lovingly remodeled and decorated. It is similar to what was once called a 'tourist court' back in the 40s & 50s. But that suits me just fine. It fills the bill for an overnight stay, as long as a person isn't overly picky. I've stayed in fancy places from LA to NYC and metro areas in between, but a little place like this has a nostalgic appeal that hard to beat.'

'We just needed a place to stay one night for the rodeo and this place went above and beyond our expectations! First, it was a hot day and to arrive to a perfectly cooled house we such a blessing! Everything was better than pictured and we enjoyed feeling like we were in an ice cream shop more than we anticipated. So much fun!'

'Traveling to South Texas we needed an overnight place to stay. We booked "The Hive" and are so glad we did! The place was spotless, had covered parking (that came in handy with the overnight storms), a huge fenced backyard for privacy, a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows ever, and great communication with the property owners! There is only one other house on the block and nothing worth seeing out front, but the back is where it's at with a big open space of nothing...

'This was a great location and comfortable accommodations for four adults, three generations. The kitchen provided everything necessary for preparing a nice family meal, and we enjoyed seeing the horses in the pasture each morning. We were in town for my daughter's graduation ceremony, and this was a good way for all of us to stay together comfortably. No regrets in choosing this location.'
