"This is a great hotel, clean spacious rooms, excellent breakfast, nice swimming pool, amazing gym. However - in a beach resort one expects to be able to swim and snorkle extensively and this was not the case. The beach is very flat wich means swimming is optimal way beyond the bouys only; if you go left in the bay there is a (very quiet) harbour and people complain that it is not safe for swimming, if you go right in the bay (where all the fish are) you are called back because you get too close to a palace. There is no proper marking how far one is allowed to swim allong the causeway, which means that all the time you fear getting into trouble. In short - an amazing but expensive hotel if you are with small children and do not want to swim in the sea, an expensive and frustrating experience if you want to go snorkling and see the local fish in their natural habitat."
