Friendly reception everything explained in detail Beautiful scenery and very interesting Italian lay out of the Guest House Very pleasant stay felt like we were in Tuscany Will definitely recommend it to friends and family

Hotel escuro, mal cuidado, cheirando mofo, moveis mal cuidados e estragados, chuveiro não tinha agua quente...lençóis duros, banheiro horrível... alem de nao me deixaram entrar no hotel antes do horário do check in. Uma pena, porque o lugar e bonito ... precisa de uma boa reforma...

You arrived early and your room was not ready yet, check in time is only at 2pm and not 11am. The Guest House is 12 years old and built to have the Tuscan look. Most of our guests enjoy the ambiance of this little Italy. Sorry that your stay was disappointing to you.

Ameisen in den Zimmern. (Im ersten Zimmer sogar im Bett) Schmutzige Tassen, auch nach 2 Tagen nicht sauber. Keine Ansprechperson.

Stay was fine, Beautiful views, just disappointed that they did not serve breakfast on a Sunday.

Thank you for staying at Dio DellÁmore. Breakfast was not included in your rate but you were welcome to join us at an extra charge of R75 per person.

Not really a 5 star
Jeffery’s bay is a lovely place to visit and with a few changes the Dio Dell Amore would be fantastic too as it has great views. Would say it’s a 3 star joint than a 5 from experience.

Thank you for taking time to write a review. Guests should always remember that we are a Five Star Guest House not a Five Star Hotel. There is a big difference. We are sorry to hear that you did not enjoy what we had to offer.

not so tuscan
The accommodation could only be described as OTT baroque kitsch, which made it uncomfortable. The room layout was not practical and the doors to the rooms has fair amount of glass which let a huge amount of light from the passages coming through the glass at night. So a good night's sleep could not be had. The driveway leading in and out of the venue was narrow and not well lit. As we are driving out one night, we ran over a retaining wall and the tyre of our 4x4 was damaged, which resulted in us having to replace same at considerable cost. We were advised by the owner that this has occurred before, so why was the offending wall not removed or moved back or the area lit up so that this does not occur again?
