This lovely, safe, walking friendly town is a dream place for commuters with NJ Railroad/ underground PATH train/Light Rail/ bus/ ferry stations.

It is also a heaven for families with 18 parks & playgrounds, literally “stroller city”. Most streets are one way street with a city wide speed limit 20 MPH.

Did I mention? It has the most bars per capita in the United States.

It is zoned to have majority of buildings under 6 stories high to keep that charming vintage neighborhood feel.

It is the birthplace of baseball and hometown of Frank Sinatra. It has a university hospital and one of the oldest technological universities.

It is next to the commercial street. Enjoy the convenience without added noise :)

Taxi would be 15 mins depending on traffic.

You may also want to walk 10 mins to stations to take ferry or PATH train. That’s just another 10min to downtown Manhattan.

Two ways to park: on street meter parking or garage.

Meter parking is free before 9am and after 9pm Mon through Sat, and is free all day Sunday

Meter fees are $0.75 per 15 minutes in business districts and $0.50 per 15 minutes in all other zones.

This property is on residential district, also around corner to business district.

- Some streets (business district) have roadsides meters that use coins, cards or app “ParkMobile” for payment

- Other streets (residential district) have no physical roadsides meters, but ONE side of the street is labeled “permit parking” with a zone number. Only app “ParkMobile” is used for payment
(city wide permit for only “permit parking” side is available on request. $10 per 24 hrs)

Closest garage is city-operated Garage D on Hudson st. (7 min walk)
