The resort was homy and comfy. The pool is just right at our doorstep— its a plus. Food is not pricey and delicious. Will definitely come back.

A good three star experience. Basic services like housekeeping were consistent and reliable. Laundry service exceeded expectations. Neither Momo or Kitaro Lodge are operating restaurants at this time. The space appears to be used exclusively for catered banquets/events. Starz Lounge is the only on-site food option.

Quiet Location out of town.
We had a couple of days stopover in Brunei and chose to stay out of the city. Starlodge is good value hotel with great pool. The free shuttle to airport and shopping areas is handy as the hotel is not near shops other than a corner store.

The staff that handle our checkin was not friendly at all. We almost cancelled our reservation because of his attitude. We requested king bed and it was confirmed in the email however upon checkin he said that its unavailable & wanted to give us double bed. His attitude through out the checkin process was very unpleasant.

A good basic hotel at a fair price. Star Lodge has become my home base in Brunei for travels throughout South-East Asia. Housekeeping can be a little spotty, some days, such as no hand towels in my room a couple of days. Overall though, Star Lodge is a good experience.

The hotel condition is not too bad ,they offer free shuttle bus to airport and nearby Macdonald with free. If you like to gakong night market in your appointed schedule,they charged $30 for oneway . They also offer free shuttle bus to Time square and gakong market in thief time range . Regarding our stay in hotel ‘s suite ,the single room ‘s air conditioner is too cold .,but they lost the remote control to adjust it. My friend sleeped in living area sofa at night.It is a demerit of my stay.

If you have a car, this hotel is very comfortable
You cannot drink alcohol. They don't provide any alcohol. It might be very good for our health but a little bit irritated because of the humid and hotness in Brunei. Of course, an air conditioner is available sometimes I felt so cold when I keep it on. In the room, only the shower is available and no bath tubs. They might save water so the amount of the water from the shower head is not enough. Although I felt the smell of the soup or shampoo was a little bit strange, it's the difference of culture or how to feel it. The fee was surprisingly cheap. I stayed a room with two beds, king sized one and a normal one. When you stay with family or someone, you must feel so comfortable.

Isolated hotel but reasonable and friendly one
Stayed for three nights in a non-smoking room (3F) and a king-sized bed. There are pre-arranged courtesy shuttle services between the airport and the hotel or to the city center or other destinations. The hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative. The buffet breakfast ($15) was not good as I thought and experienced in other similar hotels. There is a swimming pool in the center of the bldg. The room was clean. the amenity goods and two curtesy water bottles were available. The wifi connection in the room was not basically good and I had to go down to the main lobby area to upload and download files or do the internet surfing.

The hotel has all the features of a 3 to 4 star hotel. It's out of town but the shuttle service to city and airport is excellent. Incredibly friendly staff.

The stay was excellent. Room was great. My bed was a bit uncomfy esp the middle part. But i love the fluffy pillows. Kids were enjoying their time at the pool. But sadly the restaurant food were not nice, not up to par with the price (alacarte and buffet). As bruneian we love to eat, so please do something about that.

無料空港送迎は、少人数でも個別に気持ちよく対応して頂けました。 到着時の空港出迎えについては、まず、ホテル公式サイトの入力フォームからリクエストしましたが、しばらく待っても反応が無かったので、改めてメールで 連絡をしたら、すぐに返事が来ました。 当日も約束どおりの時間に、空港の到着口にゲスト名のボードを掲示して出迎えてくださいました。 朝10時前のホテル到着となりましたが、何の問題も無くすぐに客室に入れていただけました。 客室はそれなりに清潔で、湯沸し・冷蔵庫・ボトル水・FOXなどの衛星放送が映るTV等がありました。 洗面所には、日本のプラグ形状に対応したコンセントの差込口もありました。 シャワーの水圧は問題ありませんが、お湯の総量が少ないようで、使用中に湯温が下がってきました。 ジュルドンパークへは非常に近く、徒歩でも10分程度ですので、車を使わなくても遊園地や隣接フードコートに行かれます。 近所にスーパーや商店があまりないので、買い物は不便ですが、簡単な飲食物程度はホテル内でも販売しており、比較的安いです。 朝食は、品揃えも味も、まあ「そこそこ」といった感じです 館内プールは明らかに「お子様用」で、大人がゆったり寛ぐ雰囲気ではありませんでした。

spacious and comfort room with good service. pool is nice, breakfast is ok. restaurants should be ok but were closed so cannot try. shuttle service for airport, shops and other destinations is very good, driver even arrived 30 minutes before the booking time at jerudong park at 10:30pm because of the rain.

Loved our stay here. The hotel was very accommodating. Due to its remote location they offer a shuttle service at certain hours. We found that they were very flexible with the service allowing us to move around more freely than otherwise which is great. The shuttle service is quite expensive otherwise and we were only forced to pay extra once during the stay

Vi havde booket et værelse til en familie på 4. Vi skulle dog betale for en opredning og morgenmad for vores søn på 7. Ok med opredning men morgenmaden var jo betalt allerede. Det var vi ikke tilfredse med. Servicen var god og vi fik to timers senere udcheckning gratis men skulle betale 10 dollar Per time derudover. Det har vi aldrig prøvet før Virkede lidt som en crash-cow af gæsterne. Hotellet ligger langt fra byen og der er ingen taxi at få i Brunei, så du kan blive kørt rundt af hotellets shuttle service. Gratis 2 faste tidspunkter, eller med betaling på andre tider.

Family stay was good
Great room size, very spacious, Cleaners are excellent! Staff - particularly shuttle drivers were wonderful! The breakfast staff were lovely. The pool area is excellent! For kids with a splash park area! Shuttle buses are complimentary into town and also airport which was great. The service manager after a mishap at breakfast was rapid to apologise sincerely and out of blue provide a gift to our family later that night which was lovely and appreciated. Feedback Staff on recommended activities for sightseeing, when asked, wasn't a lot of directive- we were there for a week so wanted to know what the locals recommended after doing main tourist events. The breakfast could have some more fruit options and cereal, was not a great variety. Would be good to add another middle of day shuttle bus run to city area. The hotel is 30 minutes from town and taxis are impossible to find, so are relying on this if you don't have a car. we booked a family room, for 2 adults, 3 small children and baby. Room only 2 towels for all of us. And then cot for baby no linen except a bottom sheet. If we wanted more towels or linen cot or a blanket for kids everything was extra charge! Thought this was wrong seeing as a family room. Also breakfast our first day, said we had pay extra for children even though family room, then said under 3 then under 7 was complimentary. Felt uncomfortable during discussion and would not have been happy to pay for breakfast. Overall we were very happy our stay here

The hotel were very helpful as my daughter was on crutches & they provided a wheelchair for our stay & upgraded our room. The staff were polite & friendly. Unfortunately the public pool was being used for a private party so we couldn't swim during our stay, the room was too cold and they wanted to charge for blankets.
