We took the suites 762 USD a night for 4 nights. The hozel can be categorized as 5* for the location, the amnemties, the rooms and clean side of the property and rooms and services offerings (e.g. spa, sport room, hair salon). It is unfortunately maximum 4* for the service...The staff while pleasant and nice is not trained, slow, unorganized, several don't understand English. (Example: we had to ask 6 times in a row at the breakfast table to get orange and a knife, you arrive at breakfast half of table are still unclean, staff runs around forgets who asked for what, at the spa I asked for 1 massage the lady did another one, I then tried a facial, I asked the lady what products she would use and she didnt have any clue and started to read the products etiquettes). We were club members so benefitted from a perdonal breakfast area and pool. We tried once the "general breakfast" that was a total disaster service wize. The food is lovely so it is really a shame. The hotel has 3 main restaurants and a bar. The italian is by far the best. The japanese is very average... more for someone who doesnt know what japanese food looks like. The asian is good. The difference between a 5* you go once to and one you come back to is the service and the experience you get especially for this price. Absolutely not for luxury experienced people. This is just a nice room and nice location unfortunately.
