Villa Ohm was very spacious and the location was quiet yet close to the beach. The interior of the villa was very clean and air con worked well. The team were flexible with our check in time which was very much appreciated travelling with a toddler and elderly person. The fixtures etc are quite dated so I’d say in need of a spruce up to really meet the star rating being advertised.
We didn’t clock that the villa entrance was via stepping stones over pond so if you have accessibility issues like we did, it may not be the best choice.
On arrival we found out a butler was assigned to the villa, and an app available to request their help. Great in theory but from experience, I think this service needs some adjusting.
Our butler helped us to book in-room massages (which were great) but it generally felt like we were staying at his place and he didn’t have the warmest attitude. On occasion, we had 3 guys walking around the villa despite not having asked for any assistance, so we put the privacy sign on the front gate.
Since we were leaving the following day, we asked for early breakfast which was served 45mins late. Had we known, we would have sorted ourselves out. There were then 2 butlers in the kitchen, making their own breakfast and having a laugh, which was awkward.
One of them also dropped a bag in the pond on the way out, which we didn’t know until we got to the airport.
