Hotel is dicht bij het vliegveld.
Airport game Lodge Hotel is een goed en eenvoudig hotel. De kamer is goed en de bedden ook. De badkamer en toilet zijn wel erg sober en verdienen wel aandacht en verbetering.

Shuttleservice perfect, frontdesk correct, behulpzaam, ontbijt goed maar van alles veel te weinig, traag aangevuld, koffie waterig, thee goed. Kamers ruim, koud 's nachts, bedden goed.

Overnachting in Johannesburg
'S avonds aangekomen op vliegveld Johannesburg, je staat érg lang bij de douane, van de 26 hokjes zijn er 3 (soms 4) geopend. Je gaat je koffer ophalen en wordt gebeld door Airport Game Lodge om te informeren hoe het ermee gaat en om aan te geven dat ze bij aankomst hal op je staan te wachten. Dat was top! De volgende ochtend, na een eenvoudig maar prima ontbijt, weer keurig op t vliegveld afgezet voor onze volgende vlucht. Voor deze prijs een prima kwaliteit.

Goed verblijf voor of na een vlucht Johannesburg
Was er eerder geweest. Het is een prettig verblijf. Wegens een wijziging in de reservering was deze niet meer goed doorgekomen. Na een telefoontje werden we binnen een kwartier opgehaald. De vakantie begint echt in deze lodge. De tuin en de beesten erin zijn een prima start voor het vakantiegevoel.

Lodge goed gelegen als je verder naar het noorden moet. Wel ver naar Joburg. Simpele nette kamers, alleen ontbijt mogelijk, warme maaltijd kan gecatered worden.

We did not have internet or power for almost our entire stay. We needed food and they had run out, so we left the premises to find a bite. Despite asking, we were not given a key fob to enter or exit the gated community. Upon returning, we called the provided phones and even resorted to honking for someone to open the gate for us. Security only opened after we waited for over ten minutes in their secluded and dark driveway.

Pleasant stay
Overall i was happy with the stay, the staff were very friendly, pickup from airport was a little late but nothing to complain about.room was cosy ,wifi was great included streaming TV, breaksfast was sufficient. Few game animals to watch. Definitely value for money and will stay if i need a night away

Judy and Rodney were excellent and made us feel at home. On a cold evening, they made sure we had space heaters an extra blankets to keep us warm. They helped us get a reliable, safe taxi to a restaurant and on one evening helped us order takeout. Rodney was great in getting us to and from the airport. Monica serves an excellent breakfast. We enjoyed our time at Airport Game Park and would go back again.

It is a little rural mini game lodge at the airport. An older property that suffered from the plandemic. Nice staff and beautiful grounds with abundant birds and large animals to view.

It was not far from the airport but it was a rural like property that was quiet and relaxing. It felt safe and the hotel sent a shuttle driver for me even though i had not prearranged it. They were accomodating in that regard. The only problem was there was no restaurant on site and nothing close enough to go to. You had to order food by uber or have your own with you except for breakfast which was adequate. Otherwise it was nice to see some wildlife next to the property and just relax.

I had picked this place 8 years ago and i love it even Now i still love it. What is it the Staff, the peace and quite or is it the grounds with the wonderful animals i say all of the above. This property needs to be updated. The lobby was filled with flying bugs, some type of bug made the bed their bed. I was not very impressed. I lost out on my money because after i booked in and saw the condition of the room, i had to leave. Besides this hotel experience, SA was wonderful.

The animals. The late check out was very accommodating. Shuttle service was fast and helpful. More take out dining options would be nice and mosquito netting or screens on the doors would be helpful.
