Heerlijke rustige luxe plek!
Geweldig, prachtig, heerlijk rustig en van alle gemakken voorzien! Ontbijt is zeer zeker goed, lunch niets bijzonders, maar wel te doen. Avondeten is vreselijk! Blijf weg........... doe ezels een plezier en eet savonds ergens anders!

We were received very wel. At nights at the restaurant we had a very nice girl who helpt us we liked her very much. Than there came Another lady blond she wanted to book trips etc for us. As we had to pay for the diner we asked the girl the Bill she came with a Bill for the room But we wanted to pay it directly. So the blond lady came and I and my husband had a discussion about the tip. I wanted to have the tip to give it personly to the girl so the blond lady said I will come back with the Bill and money so that you can diced. She never came so my husband went to our room and I stayed and wait for the bill. She never came. So I went to my room and than to my surprice the lady didn t come to me while I still was waiting and she saw it. So she went to the room to ask my husband what to do with the tip. When I heard this it is so disrespectful. The next day I asked for the girl because the blond lady seems to be the owner and I didn t trust her how she behave. As the girl came I asked her if she got her tip from us and I asked how much she got. She said she got 60 rand????? We gave 110 rand as tip for the girl. So my feeling about the owner Madelein was correct. What did she do with the rest of the money. So if you want to give a tip to the Girls give it your selfs because the owner Madelein is not trustefull.

Very scary, no sleep
Woke up midnite to find someone in your room in Sourh Africa is no joke. Person had a key to enter our room and lock the door again when he left the room as we woke up. It took us a while to get our door keys that fell on the floor in the dark. We phoned all the available numbers - nobody answered. Even the security guard at the gate, could not get hold of the owner / management. The television did not work. Have to move furniture to get hold of plugs to charge our phones. The aircon could not be put off, due to the remote not working and no plug to put it off.

Villa de estilo italiano reconvertida en hotel, con increíbles vistas desde sus varias terrazas. Las habitaciones son grandes y muy bien decoradas, el servicio, perfecto, y la zona de piscina muy recomendable. El restaurante ofrece platos locales que merece la pena probar, con una atención muy personal del chef. Perfecta relación calidad-precio.

Best hotel in Pretoria, by far!
Easily the best hotel in Pretoria and one of the best in all of South Africa. To put it simply, this place made me feel like a king (quite literally). Everything from comfort, service, food, location were TOP-NOTCH. The only thing I could possibly recommend is that the hotel invest in a second backup power generator. The power was out and the main generator was being serviced when I needed to check out, so checkout was made difficult and since the wifi was also down I couldn't order an Uber. Other than that this place was excellent and the staff were very warm and welcoming and always willing to help. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Pretoria.

Very luxurious, safe and highly recommended
We would definitely stay here again when visiting Pretoria / Johannesburg. The staff, facilities, room, multilevel terraces were lovely and the onsite chef / restaurant has breakfast, lunch and dinner available. Wonderful ambience and friendly, attentive caring staff. Security at the gate and grounds. In the same suburb as many foreign embassies, the area is leafy and green. Lovely room service with the ability to dine on your own private large terrace under shade and cooling breezes. We also used the Ulysses tour company which the hotel kindly arranged for us, and had a day private tour with a driving guide. Thank you to all the staff for a very pleasant 2 night stay prior to us boarding The Blue Train.

A perfect place to stay
After 43 days in Southern Africa, almost all of which was camping, it was amazing to come to the Castello Di Monti. It was so relaxing and peaceful. Everything about the place was wonderful.

Beautiful mansion turned into B&B
This tuscan-style home and gardens was a beautiful sight with wonderful views of Pretoria as it sits atop a hill. The service was impeccable. It was my husband's birthday and they treated us so special with a private room for dinner with the fireplace on. Food was so good we decided to eat there our second night also. We loved the views from the rooftop patio as we enjoyed our wine and cheese platter watching the sun go down. I can't say enough good things about their wonderful service in every way from the moment we pulled into their driveway.

Wohlfühlen!!!
Wir wurden sehr freundlich begrüßt und haben uns vom ersten Moment sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Team hat uns wie in eine große Familie aufgenommen. Alle sind sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer sehr geräumig und komfortabel. Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke :-)

Wonderful place to stay
This hotel is in a beautiful location with a great view of Pretoria. Rooms were very roomy and clean with comfortable beds. Staff were very attentive and helpful. They arranged a tour of Pretoria for us that was very informative. They are out of the way so it was very quiet. There is only one restaurant nearby so we decided to eat at the hotel rather than go out. Food and service were excellent. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone who wants to have a great place to stay.

Tuscany in Pretoria
We love Castello di Monte and have stayed here every year for the last 3 years. It's just an amazing place to relax in a wonderful Italian villa in Pretoria! The service is fantastic and the views from the terrace rooms are phenomenal. The common areas and hotel size make you feel like you have the whole place to yourself!

Our room was spacious with a huge bathroom, dressing room, very comfortable bed and an enormous terrace overlooking Pretoria. *The only thing that could be improved is the small shower head and low water pressure in the shower. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was a la carte with a large range of options and was beautifully cooked. Highly recommend a stay here if your looking for a luxury break!

A dream palace
This place is a dream palace. Since my wife and I were celebratitng our anniversary we were upgraded to the presenditial suite which is truly formidable, and we were treated to a romantic dinner on the look-out tower overlooking Pretoria. Staff were friendly and attentative, the place left nothing to be desired...

Amazing guesthouse
I could not find fault with any part of this hotel. The staff, location, ambiance, rooms, this has been quiet possibly the very best hotel I have ever stayed at. Easy walking distance from a very good French Resturant, try the tasting menu with wine. Located in a safe area so you are able to walk around. Close to the Brooklyn Mall, 2 miles.
