Very friendly staff. Feels like home. Breakfast is fine. Rooms are OK and pool is small but nice

My only slightly negative observation was that the decor was a little old and tatty... curtains frayed and torn. Otherwise I felt safe, and enjoyed good service. The staff were amazing... really friendly and helpful.

Sehr schöner Garten. Freundliches Personal. Der Pool war jedoch die ganze Zeit unseres Besuches nicht nutzbar und der Tennisplatz sieht aus als hätte er seine besten Zeiten sehr lange hinter sich. Die Zimmer sind okay, könnten hier und da aber auch ein bisschen Zuwendung gebrauchen, also mal einen Lichtschalter reparieren und eine Glühlampe austauschen

Visiting this small lodge is like spending time in paradise. The rooms and property are lovely, but best of all is the attentive staff.

Mal accueilli par le premier gardien de nuit. Petit déjeuner le plus décevants. Service moyen!! Nous avons réserver une suite qui était très bien mais je ne retournerai plus fans cet hotel

We were pleasantly surprised.... the photos on the website does not do justice to this beautiful guest house. It was a awesome experience. And Sam was a wonderful host. Well done!!!

I know the area very well as i used to live to far away - so this is the reason why I looked in this locale. The lodge met my needs for my very short and short-notice trip to Joburg. Beautiful gardens and very relaxing

Upmarket Guest House
Very nice upmarket accomodation, clean and fantastic setting in a stunning garden with pool and tennis courts. The room wifi was not working correctly and an aircon in the room would have been nice, but overall a good stay.

Hyggelig og flott overnatingstilbud i Jo`burg
Lourie Lodge er en skult skatt i Johannesburg. Om du har behov for en rolig hjemmekoselig overnattings alternativ i Santon området er dette stedet du bør velge. Rommene er ok store, Bor du på rom 1 eller 6 har du egen sittegruppe. Du har også et lite svømmebasseng til disposisjon og en tennisbane. Hyggelig personale . Vil bo her igjen ved mitt neste besøk

Lourie Lodge is an absolutely beautiful facility.
My room was amazing and spacious. The view was outstanding of the well kept grounds and pool. I felt completely safe. The grounds are surrounded by a high wall and electronic gate. From the moment I was greeted at the airport by a transfer service the friendliness of the staff was shown throughout my stay.

Oasis of peace
This was the third time we stayed here, and we enjoyed our visit very much. The rooms are comfortable and clean; the garden is a delight.

Un guest-house de charme
Pour un deuxième séjour au LOURIE LODGE, nous sommes toujours aussi satisfaits : belle chambre, grande salle de bains, jardin et piscine ou il est agréable de se détendre. Quartier sécurisé . Seul bémol , les chambres ne sont pas climatisées....pour un guest-house de cette catégorie , une climatisation réversible serait nécessaire pour la chaleur de l'été....et la froideur de l'hiver.... Néanmoins le LOURIE LODGE a toujours au tant de charme

Good welcome but failed to say local water company had turned water off for unknown reasons so after arrival from international flight no shower before meetings. Not their fault and water was restored overnight.

Great Location
A terrific location if you're doing business in the Fourways Area. Nice gardens and swimming pool, for a relaxing ambience away from the hustle and bustle. Good breakfast cooked to order. Limited parking which can cause some inconvenience if you're the last in and not the first to leave in the morning although the security guards at the gate will happily take your keys to avoid waking you in the morning. All in all a great place to stay at a reasonable price.

Nous avons passe 2 nuits au LOURIE LODGE et nous y reviendrons . Tout était impeccable , et reposant. Idéalement situé a Fourways ,près de nombreux commerces et restaurants. Nous recommandons la chambre 6. Un seul bémol , nous n'avons pas vu les propriétaires qui étaient occupés, mais ils nous ont contactés par mail suite a l'oubli d'un livre dans la chambre. Nous recommandons vivement LOURIE LODGE.

Excellent hotel, with friendly staff
This is an excellent hotel, the staff were very friendly and the accommodation was great, especially for the price. The breakfast was good and the internet quality was very good in my room (both free). I would definitely recommend this hotel.
