Wij kwamen om 23.00 na onze KLM vlucht. Chauffeur klopte op de deur, maar de gastvrouw lag te slapen en had niet veel zin om de deur voor ons te openen. Uiteindelijk deed ze open en leidde ons zonder iets te zeggen of in te checken naar de kamer. De volgende ochtend kwamen we bij de ontbijtruimte en ook hier werd niet tegen ons gepraat. Ik heb maar om ontbijt gevraagd, waarnaar er een yoghurtje, banaantje en een plakje kipfilet voor mijn neus werd gezet. Ondertussen hoorde wij andere gasten discussieren met een gastvrouw over transfer naar het vliegveld die maar niet kwam. De gastvrouw negeerde het steeds door weg te lopen. Ook wij hadden om 09.15 een transfer nodig, maar deze was er om 10.00 nog biet. Uiteindelijk via een taxi om 10.15 naar het airport gegaan. We werden iet uitgecheckt en er werd niks door de host tegen ons gezeg. De kamer was netjes en modern, maar erg warm zonder airco. De service en gastvrijheid was ver te zoeken, we voelden ons totaal niet welkom.

Locatie is perfect, gastvrijheid was uitstekend! In de kamer werkte alles maar zou een refreshing kunnen gebruiken!!

24 uur transport service from the airport, welcomed very warmly and the room was perfect. Even the matras can be heated in the case of a cold night. In the morning breakfast was very delicious. In sum, you should definitely book this hotel when staying near OR Tambo.

Welcoming Crew
The crew was busy with a large event but still tried to make me feel as welcome as possible. They went out of their way to make me some dinner and delicious wine. The property is currently under renovation and many exciting things are happening. Extremely quiet and convenient location for anything airport related or also for large events.

With a little bit of energy the place could be awesome, fix the TV, put a bar fridge in each room, renovate the bathrooms however they charge a very reasonable price.

La relación calidad-precio de este hotel es increíble. Es perfecto para hacer noche si tienes un vuelo de conexión en Johannesburgo; está cerca del aeropuerto, ofrecen un servicio de transfer muy eficiente (incluido en el precio) y las habitaciones, aunque sencillas, están limpias y son cómodas. Además el desayuno también está incluido y el personal es muy atento y amable.

Cleanliness a big concern
Simply put was not impressed. Walls are quite thin and voices/noise travels quite easily throughout the halls as one can hear conversations or doors opening and closing etc. Biggest complaint would be the cleanliness which was non-existent; the carpets had stains, the curtains had stains, the ceiling in the bathroom looked like it had undergone serious water damage as one can see paint chipping away so might have been a leak from the room above hard to say; the toilet had not been cleaned. TV channel quality was not great, the air-conditioning was not working barely felt it to be frank and there was no way of adjusting its settings i.e. to increase/decrease fan speed or temperature so it seems to be controlled centrally. Overall the cleanliness made it a very disappointing stay as one just could not be comfortable. On a positive note staff were very friendly though so if they could look into the cleanliness factor and readiness of the rooms prior to the arrival of visiotrs then it would go a long way to improve the stay of visitors.

The rooms are clearly not as advertised. The service was bad, no milk with the coffee in the room. No breakfast was received as advertised. No one at reception when you needed something.

Our stay was more than expected For the rate per night I paid I expected a bit more run down, I was pleasantly surprised when entering the room. Very friendly staff and breakfasts was sufficient. Did not use their WiFi therefore can not comment on it. Close too the airport and close too a few shopping malls/areas with few traffic to and from airport/shops Free inside parking I will definately stay there again and definately more value for your money spend

We had stayed there multiple times, but this time really failed on expectations. When we got there, they put us in a room at the end of a hall. But there was no WiFi. Then they moved us to a room that did not have a key and there was a drain above it that went all night long. Then, for some reason, the WiFi quite working. Apparently it had been unplugged in the room where the router was located. Yes, in one of the guests rooms. There was only one towel in the room and no soap or shampoo. We were very disappointed, and some may blame Covid-19, but not been able to satisfy security issues like no key is wrong. I tried to call the manager multiple times, but no response. We will not stay there again.
