'I was there for a camp on LSU campus, it was very convenient. Plenty of places to eat close to hotel. The hotel was very nice and clean. The curtains in our room needed replacing, they were torn. The breakfast was good and the area was excellent, I wish this area was available for hanging out with family and friends. The staff answered any questions but were not friendly.'

'The rooms were immaculate, and the beds were comfortable. It was also surprisingly quiet, even in a room closest to the interstate. However, on a Saturday morning, the breakfast area was swamped with people. I recommend getting there early if you want a clean place to sit and get the food you want.'

'The staff was very supportive in assisting me with a late checkout for a medical need. However we didn’t require a late checkout! The property is very outdated, but it was clean, easy to navigate & the entire staff was friendly & accommodating. The property is in a great location & accessible to most of your travel needs. If I had one complaint it would be the “yapping” dog a few rooms down from us!'

'Restaurant was very, very slow. Waitress was so apologetic but I never got my food until it was time to go. Just had a plain sandwich. It was good but I ate it in the car. It happens. There was a big plumbing problem in one of our rooms. This shouldn’t happen to a brand new build. There were a lot of front desk people but not overly friendly. It’s close to a lot of places and walking distance to restaurants which makes it nice since the hotel doesn’t have its own parking lot and we did valet parking. Told it was an upgrade and when we said we didnt want it (we had 2 adults and 2 teens), they said it was the last available room in the hotel. I don't believe that at all, but we made do. 'I stayed here for 2 nights for a family trip. The bed was so comfortable, the water pressure in the shower was strong, and the breakfast was tasty! I spent about an hour with my feet in the pool. I did see some bugs in the pool but I think that's expected in the south especially when a storm was about to roll in. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would stay here again in the future.'
