'We loved the Dunlin! The grounds are gorgeous and the rooms are lovely. We rode bikes around the property and had an excellent time! The afternoon tea was a bit overpriced for what was served, but we still enjoyed it. I would like to mention that the room rate we chose made reference to a soaking tub and separate shower and this was not the case; we only had a shower. It was a great shower! But just know that the descriptions here are not always accurate and we were a bit disappointed.'

'The room was perfect - large, clean, quiet, comfortable, and modern. It felt more like a studio apartment than a hotel room in all the right ways. The kitchenette was equipped with all the comforts of home and then some. Linens were great and the bed was super comfortable. Staff was welcoming, helpful, and personable. 'Great hotel with wonderful staff. Food, drinks, roof top bar were all excellent. Especially enjoyed the transport service. Wish there were more USB charger outlets in rooms. Turn down service/room service was inconsistent. Would highly recommend for quiet, relaxing stay in Charleston. '
