Not what we expected
The pictures of this home are deceiving. There are at most 4 bedrooms, not 5 as listed. You have to walk through a bedroom to get to another bedroom which made it very difficult to have any privacy for those guests. There is an animal living in the attic which can be heard running across the ceiling at night. The kitchen is very poorly stocked and the kitchen sink does not drain well. Im assuming because there is no garbage disposal and people put food down it. It needs to be cleaned out. Not nearly enough towels for a “5 bedroom house”. The upstairs bathroom shower was extremely moldy. For the amount we paid these should not be issues. There were several other issues such as the cheap Keurig making watered down coffee, police loud speaker at 4am telling us to stay in our home, and my sister had a spider in her hair.

Family Holiday Gathering
We had family in town to celebrate the holiday early. All of us hadn't been together in quite a while and we were looking forward to my mother being able to spend time with all of her children and grandchildren. The check-in process was seamless, the location was great, and the property was very clean. However, due to the inaccuracy of the listing we had to find alternative accommodations for some of the out of town family. Although we enjoyed the house and the location the lack of bedrooms put a damper on our time together. The listing says a master bedroom and an additional 5 spacious bedrooms but, in reality there were only 4 bedrooms. We reached out to the company several times after our stay as well as upon arrival. They said they would call the next day with a resolution but we still have not received a response.

Sibling Vacation @ Jonesboro, GA
The vacation rental property located in Jonesboro, GA was exactly as pictured in the advertisement photos on VRBO. The home was very spacious and well decorated. It had just enough sleeping space for our exact family size of 16. On the other hand, the master bedroom bed frame was broken, we notified the property personnel as soon as we noticed it. Needless to say, it was not a comfortable sleep when rolling to the center of the bed due to the broken frame. There were also quite a few roaches and ants inside the kitchen and bathrooms. When emailed about the insect issue, we were informed to use a can of Raid located in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. The water draining system was also a bit of an issue but we managed. The owner also made sure our holiday was special by putting up a Christmas tree,, which was great for our children. Although minor issues did arise, our family enjoyed the stay and we definitely had an amazing time. Looking forward to the next vacation 😎

At Eight 11 Homes, we strive to provide each and every guest with the best experience possible when staying at any of our properties. We are not insinuating that you are being untruthful, but there are no pests at this property. The property is treated regularly for pests of all types and we can assure you that no pests are there. Concerning the bed frame, we offered to send maintenance to the home to check the "broken" frame at which time you declined. After you checked out, the frame was checked and was clearly not broken at all. A bed that may not be as comfortable as your bed at home does not mean it's broken. However, the home is beautifully decorated and clean, with a farmhouse theme, including barn doors, a soaker tub, and very spacious for a group to stretch out and relax while enjoying a meal, or a games night in comfort and in style.
