Modern Guest House - Vintage Records, Hot Tub, 4+ Acres, Wifi, kabel, uitzicht!

Geniet van een ontspannen verblijf in het gezellige South Joshua Tree Guest House. Het Guest House is open en luchtige 1000 vierkante voet studio op een prive-4 hectare omheind pand met een prachtig uitzicht op de zonsondergang op het noorden.

De slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed en een onlangs gerenoveerde badkamer met douche. Aan de andere kant van de studio is er een of optioneel 2 aparte bedden die afzonderlijk kunnen worden geplaatst of ook samen kunnen worden geschoven voor een Cal King-formaat, indien nodig.

De woonkamer heeft een super comfortabele, naar beneden gevuld midden van de eeuw bank en poef voor de open haard. Er is een stereo-, cd- en dvd-speler, draaitafel, AirPort Express met AirPlay voor draadloze verbinding met uw Apple IOS muziekspeler en televisie met kabel in de woonkamer voor uw moderne entertainmentbehoeften! Een interessante selectie van cd's, dvd's, platen en boeken wordt verstrekt tijdens uw verblijf.

Geniet van onze schattige nieuw toegevoegde keuken volledig gevuld met borden, bestek, glaswerk en voorgerechten voor uw maaltijden en een houtskool barbecue grill buiten.

Er is een privépatio met tafel en stoelen en een vuurplaats op het noorden met een prachtig uitzicht - vooral geweldig om 's nachts naar sterren te kijken! Er is een afgelegen Jacuzzi J-LXL-bubbelbad met loungezitting op een plaat op slechts een paar passen van de patio. De locatie is privé en ligt tussen Joshua Trees en woestijnflora en biedt een panoramisch uitzicht op de zonsondergang, de omliggende bergen, stadslichten en 's nachts fantastische sterren. Er zijn 2 hangmatten om te loungen onder een grote schaduwboom naast de carport waar u uw auto onder dekking kunt parkeren.

Voor grotere groepen kijk eens naar het hoofdgebouw onder Joshua Tree Mid-Century Retreat, dat zich op hetzelfde terrein bevindt. We huren vaak zowel het pension als het hoofdhuis samen, maar als u denkt dat dit voldoet aan uw vereisten, laat het ons dan zo snel mogelijk weten zodat we de beschikbaarheid van beide kunnen verzekeren.

We zien er naar uit om bij ons te blijven.

This was such a great place to stay!! Without a doubt one of the top 5 most relaxing and peaceful places I have ever stayed, and the price is a bargain for all that you get. The 70’s theme is done so well with top quality furnishings and artwork. The stairmaster, free weights, and other fitness equipment is such a bonus to have on site. The 2 hammocks outside are so comfortable and great for stargazing. The bed is very comfortable and the bedding is also top quality! There is a wide selection of music as well as DVD’s and a Roku. We did not use it but it has a working fireplace. The air conditioning cools quickly and holds a steady temp. But the absolute best feature is the jacuzzi. The powerful jets feel great but we enjoyed just sitting in the water looking at the stars with just the sound of the desert wind surrounding us. I’ve stayed other places in Joshua Tree but this one is by far the best and I hope it’s available on my next stay.

Really great place - we liked the slightly funky concrete floors, 70s retro air. The location is fantastic- so close to the Joshua Tree NP entrance and town of Joshua Tree. We stayed almost 2 weeks, so had to wash clothes- good /clean laundromat in town but not at VRBO. But the host was GREAT, and the place was fun and easy and perfect for us. Thx for a great stay.

Mark was super welcoming and responsive! The pictures of this house don’t do it justice; it’s so fun, groovy, and has a wonderful ambiance. Bed is super comfy. Hot tub under the stars was the highlight. They have everything you need for an amazing stay! 100% would stay here again.

I was so pleased with my visit. Mark, our host, was so accommodating. He was quick to answer questions, and very flexible when I needed to make last minute additions -- and then subtractions -- to my guest count. I felt like I was in good hands with him as the contact/host. I loved the cozy guest house. It was a kitschy, well appointed cabin under the stars! It was a quick drive to the main road that goes through town and hits all the fun shops restaurants, but isolated enough from the main drag that we felt like we had great privacy. A highlight was taking advantage of the hot tub in the cool December evening weather, with a fantastic view of the brush around us.I was such a fan of all the Pendleton blankets that were on offer to curl up with. A surprise desert rain storm fog were no issue at all because the thermostat was in great working order so we were very warm. The aesthetic of the guest house is just very charming. It was a lovely getaway, and I will definitely return. Thank you, Mark.

Despite the rainy weather, we were very comfortable and cozy and our car was protected from the rain! Note, there is some construction happening next to the property, but it really didn't bother us too much. Great location right near some good spots to eat and the national park!

The Modern Guesthouse is very conveniently located near several great shops and restaurants and it was also easy to get to the JT Music Festival from there. It’s cozy, comfortable, and has a very good vibe. Mark, the host is a great communicator, responds quickly and had lots of good suggestions on things to do while we were there. This was the perfect spot to unwind! We were at the end of a 26 day road trip and wanted to decompress. As promised, the place is very private and quiet, but still very close to town and to the park entrance.The guest house has delightful decor with unique items throughout. There is an excellent entertainment center for TV and music. The EV charger was a convenience for us and was in great working order. The host made it clear that he was available at all times, should we need him, but his informational notebook was so complete that we just met him upon our departure. His recommendations were wonderful. Best of all is the stargazing from the hot tub and patio!

Great Guest House

This place is a great stay and exactly as the pictures show. Its a studio but the space is larger than I expected. It has a great view of the landscape, especially at night of the city lights down the hill.We found ourselves enjoying the large and very eclectic collection of vinyl and record player. And also relaxed in the hammocks which are shaded buy a large tree.We're looking forward to future return visits.
