'We stayed here at the end of 21 days of safari and then a few days in Stone Town and it was the greatest two days of the trip. It's near the airport, so it's perfect to cap off a trip. The room was steps from a small private beach. It's not near anything but it was gorgeous and spotless and luxurious, which is exactly what we needed before the grueling trip home.'

'The moment we arrived at michamvi sunset bay resort we knew that we would have great and relaxing time there. It is a beautiful place and the staff was very friendly and helpful throughout the trip and made us feel at home. 'Great welcome, easy, small, cute, 2 double rooms only rented out each with private bathroom. very quaint but typically as in Stonetown, the windows face the alleys and you can hear people opten walking talking but normal for intown house. would still stay again. great value. '

'I loved the charm of the old building. Breakfast was included and was very good. The famous Lukmaan restaurant is right around the corner. There is a mosque across the alley, so you will hear the call to prayer unless you’re a heavy sleeper. There is also street noise but it usually gets quieter the later it gets. There is no parking. Make sure the taxi driver points out the building because it’s very nondescript. Overall a great place to stay. '

'We stayed her for two nights. Beautiful authentic hotel, breakfast was good and had some different things than the usual breakfast buffets plus was a little different everyday. The biggest plus is the staff: very welcoming, friendly and helpful! The only thing that disappointed was the room: the room was ok, don't get me wrong, but it was inferior to the pictures of the one I booked online although it looked I was booking this room category, so the hotel only loses points there.'
