'Ellipse has a fantastic location right next to Mall of Africa, and the aparthotel itself was very nice, but poor internal communication significantly hurt the experience. Later, I was granted an extra hour for late checkout (12:00 PM) because I was unwell, but management failed to notify staff. Housekeeping knocked at...

'I stay here on occasion when the hotels close to Mall of Africa are booked out. Especially if you're here for a business week the Ellipse appartments is a really good alternative. Easy quick walk to Mall of Africa if one needs something. Safe compound. There's even a completely fine restaurant right one the premises (Olives & Plates). I also like the fact that they have a laundry machine in the appartment which is hand if I am on a longer trip. The one and only thing you need to know is that as...

'Area Don't feel Safe . Staff was Lackadaisical about your Complaints. Door was not Locking Properly and I had to wait until the Next Day for the Maintenance Man .The Safe to Secure My Properly had not Battery so it Couldn't be Closed.Needless to Say I only Spent one Night There.I Returned 8 Days Later to Retrieve my Properly, and the Safe Still had No Batteries. This Battery Situation was Reported to Both the Office on the Night of Check in , And The Maintenance Man. Calling Expedia was Useless....

'Staying at BlackBrick Bedfordview was unpleasant. I booked two rooms for 3 night. In both rooms the locks on the doors weren't working and the sheets had not been changed / cleaned after the previous guest checked out. I complained to management. The locks were fixed but the sheets were not changed throughout my 3-night stay. I will never book or stay there again.'
