Houd er rekening mee dat we vandaag bericht hebben ontvangen van het verenigingskantoor van het Whaler Resort dat er een geplande zwembad-opknapbeurt gepland is om te beginnen op 1 september 2019. Het project zal naar verwachting 3-4 weken duren, dus ze hebben voor alle gasten van The Whaler gezorgd gedurende het hele project van het zwembad in hun buurresort, het Ka'anapali Beach Hotel. Een extra korting van 10% wordt aangeboden bovenop onze reeds vermelde laagseizoenprijs voor september.

Begin uw ochtend met een ontspannen ontbijt op uw Lanai met een prachtig uitzicht op de oceaan. Als je toevallig een van de gelukkigen bent die hier tijdens het walvisseizoen op bezoek bent, kun je achterover leunen en je vergapen aan de prachtige show van de bultruggen terwijl ze gracieus door het water glijden. Het is slechts een korte wandeling naast het Whalers Village het grootste openlucht winkelcentrum op Maui. U vindt een groot aantal goede restaurants of casual familie dineren, buurtwinkels, boetiekjes, eersteklas kunstgalerijen, live entertainment en nog veel meer te vinden. En als je de neiging om te profiteren van de vele water avonturen meest direct starten vanuit Kaanapali Beach ~ bent nu hoe handig is dat!

We have stayed at a several units at the Whaler and this was one of the best. The decor is pleasant, furnishings comfortable, beds are great, and there is a variety of lounging and dining furniture on the wrap around lanai. It is a large open unit with great views. Looking forward to staying here again. Mahalo!

A home away from home

The VRBO booking and payment process was a breeze. The Whaler is a fantastic complex in the center of Kaanapali Beach. Our unit was clean and spacious. We had a problem with the refrigerator but it was taken care of very promptly. The WiFi signal was weak and did not reach the master bedroom. Perhaps a WiFi extender in the master bedroom will solve this issue. There was an appropriate amount of plates, cups, glasses and basic cookware. Would have been nice to have some covered food storage containers with lids. We will definitely consider staying here again on our next visit to this beautiful island.

First of all checking in was a breeze my party was happy to have the beautiful view of the ocean and the mountains view and the courtyard sunset we’re beautiful from our condo Here are some suggestions we use what was available. I’m giving you some suggestions of what you need to add Not enough chairs at the dining room table to accommodate eight even though we only had six in the condo we only had for chairs for the dining room table Wine Glasses & Coffee Mugs for 8 People and plastic cups for use on lanai for a party of eight would be good The frying pans need to be updated not so used can be a health issue Extra blankets would be nice also there was two blow dryers and only one worked Overall, we love the place just needs to be updated. We are looking to definitely come back and stay. Next year

The condo is even better than the listing says. You are right at the resort in a prime location, in the middle of the beach. This area had a nice breeze. The condo is BIG and clean. Has chairs, umbrella, boogie board too! We arrived late and check in is 24/7. There is a security guard to let you in to parking lot- he had our name and check in was seamless. After a LONG travel day, this was amazing!

The perfect condo for a family trip to Maui

The space is very comfortable and well thought out. The balcony looping around the entirety of the unit was our favorite. Even with some rain we were able to sit outside and enjoy both the view of the mountains and the beach. it felt very safe. You had everything you might need even if you didn't feel like getting in the car, with Whaler's Village a short walking distance around the corner. The Xplorie partnership is incredible. We really enjoyed booking our excursions through them!

Wonderful trip!

Very clean. View is spectacular. Pool is great for adults but not really for children. I would rent this property again. If you plan to cook meals you’ll need to buy spices, oil etc. only stocked with salt/pepper packets.

Location and good for big families!!

The condo is in a great location right next to Whalers village (shopping and plenty of food selections) which is great since I travel with teenagers that are always looking for something to do. It was very nice to have all the necessities at our disposal ( kitchen, towels, everything you need for a long stay). They provide washer and dryer which was great! Some cons: the restrooms don’t have a lock so you have to announce that you are going to the restroom! The toilet handle feels like it’s going to fall off any day if not replaced. The queen beds in the 2nd bedroom are not comfortable. The curtains are dirty and falling apart in the living room so be careful when closing them. Lastly, the dining table outside is a bit of a hazard so be careful when stepping down because the chairs wobble! Overall, the pros outweigh the cons because of the location of the condo!
